Here's your chance to start competing, compete to be the best and win prizes whilst building our community. This will be a test cup, so it's purely to see how things go and to see how many teams are committed to improve the community by giving their support.

We will be using MOSS Anti-Cheat by Nohope92 for this cup for the time being, however I'll be having an AC developed for future events (depending on how it turns out)

Before I give you any further information, please know that for this cup your team has to have at least 2 players from any of these countries, England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Turkey and/or Egypt. For example, if one of your players is from Scotland, another player would have to be from Scotland or one of the other countries, like Turkey for example. We can't build a competitive scene with players from CF EU, that's why I'm slowly adding these restrictions. In future events this number will increase to 3. For those who don't live in any of those countries, people who made their accounts before CF EU came out and have stayed on this version, we need your support. 3 of you per team can participate and in the future there will be events where everyone can get involved with less restrictions.
When?

The single elimination test cup will be on Friday the 19th of June:
Round 1 will start @ 7:30PM GMT (British Time) which is 8:30PM GMT+1 (For Egyptian/EU players) and 9:30PM GMT+2 (For Turkish players)
We need to get 8 teams signed up, so that we can have a Round 1, a Semifinals and a Final.

Once you've downloaded MOSS, all you have to do is run it is run it as administrator, go to file, parameters, and then choose CrossFire. After, go to capture and start, you should see "Waiting for game"
Then run CF and you're good to go.
Please note: you'll have to stop moss by going to capture and then stop, every game. If you win your first game, stop MOSS and close CF. Then reopen MOSS again and restart the process above for the next game. You'll be required to upload your moss file (located in the moss folder, likely to be on the desktop) every game.

PRIZES
For this test cup, each of the 5 players on the winning team will be gifted 10k ZP, this is out of my own money so try not to have high expectations

We'll be using similar rules to the rules that EGL use, as I know some of you have already played in their tournaments, but there will be differences so make sure you read them through.

BGL Rules
Allowed Characters, Weapons and Maps

Characters:
SWAT, SAS, OMOH.

Primary Weapons:
• AK47
• M4A1
• Steyr AUG A1
• SG552
• QBZ95
• No skins, no VIP.

Machine Guns and Sub Machine guns:
• All are allowed with exception to the
m12s, RPK, Colt M16A3LMG and MP5


Sniper Rifles:
• AWM
• M700
• No skins, No VIP.

Secondary Weapons:
•Desert Eagle
•Anaconda
•P228
•COLT1911
•M9
• No skins*, no VIP.
*Desert Eagle Crystal from the FP Mall is allowed.

Melee Weapons :
• Only a default knife or an Axe will be allowed.
• No VIP.

Throwing Weapons :
Grenades (Basic)
• Frag Grenade
• Flashbang
• Smoke
• No colored Smokes, no custom grenades.

Maps:
•PORT
•MEXICO
•BLACKWIDOW
•ANKARA
•SUB-BASE

VIP weapons, Melee and Secondary on Bag2,3,4:
Are illegal.

Illegal Items:
ALL CHARACTER ITEMS, for example: Flash Guard Goggles, Smoke Goggles, Head and Body Armour, Sprays, Extra Magazines, No fall damage. This includes hats, bags and everything else.

Legal items :
Extra Bag 3 & 4, C4 Defuse/Setup Kit, Expand Grenade Slots

Chinese Walking:
is legal
General Match Rules

Single map Elimination :
9 rounds, 1st person, spectators on.
The first half is over after
9 rounds have been played (e.g. 5-4) and the game is over
when a team reaches 10 rounds.
Make sure when you make the room, name it: [BGL] Team vs Team

The default server and channel is UK Server 5, Channel 8.

[In the knife round you have to use a regular default knife]
If a team isn't aware of the regular knife rule for the knife round, simply restart the knife round.

The team that wins the knife round gets to decide which side they start on:
Knife round will be on default server UK Server 5 Channel-8
The winner picks which side they wish to start on.

Tie breakers:
6 rounds will be played (3 rounds per half, 1-2, 2-1 or 3-0 are all possible outcomes of the first half). These tie breakers are Best out of 6 rounds, also known as first to 4 rounds.
If the game is tied again at 3-3, one round will be played as a Golden Round (winner takes all).

Test Cup Rules
Anti-Cheat:
Both teams have to be on MOSS every game and upload their MOSS files every game, this rule is compulsary.

Sportsmanlike Conduct:
Unsportsmanlike conduct is not tolerated for any reason. No racism or offensive remarks made repeatedly. You are allowed a grace of two PER TEAM before you receive deduction of 1 round per offence. Take screen shots of people breaking this rule for evidence.

Boosting:
Only 1-man boosting is allowed. No one way mirrors. No boosting onto buildings rooftops (IE: Port GR side roof, Mexico Alley). Breaking this rule will result in your disqualification.

Glitching:
The use of exploiting positions and/or advantages unintended for the play of game are prohibited. IE: Entering Boxes, glitched bomb plants, smoke glitching, etc.

General Regulations:
15 Minute grace period after scheduled start of DEFAULT match time. If they do not have at least 4 players, they are automatically disqualified. No exceptions will be made.

Pauses/Breaks:
Each team will be allowed to pause once during or before the match. The Pause duration is 15 minutes max.

Roster Changes: In this cup, you're allowed as long as you post on this thread at least 1 hour before the start of the first round. Roster changes DURING the cup aren't allowed.

Replays and Screen Shots:
Take a screenshot of the scoreboard at the end of a half, do this for every half. Save the replay on both halves, these will be needed for disputes.

Score Reporting: After the game, the winning team is obligated to make a forum post stating the team names in the title (Team vs Team) and the score along with SCREEN SHOTS. You also need to upload your MOSS to a site (uppit.com for example) and post the link in that same thread.

Disputing: The thread used to report the score, can also be used to post a dispute on.

Clan Rule :
3 of your team members have to be in the same clan in order to play.

Cheating :
Any player caught cheating on AC will be banned from every BGL event for 3 months. Anyone who attempts to bypass the ban will be banned for 6 months.

Registration deadline is on Thursday the 18th at 11:30pm.
Brackets will go live at 12pm.
