windowed mode

I used to play cf with the menu in windowed mode and the made in full screen (since 2012), and now if the menu is in windowed mode the game will be in windowed mode as well, can only play in full screen if i put the menu in full screen as well, any solution for this ?

Full Screen is at the moment the only solution for you and me.

Yeah I got this problem too. It really sucks and it just made everything worse. It has not even an advantage! The windowed mode is so extreme useless... It makes the game unplayable because the winowed mode looks bad and you can't see the lower side of the game. Z8 you really need to know what the players want.. Sorry but this is needed to said. Please fix this, because the old mode was so good. I liked CrossFire for that because you can easy see your other windows in the background. I really hope you are going to listen to the players and change it back. Otherwise good update guys, keep it up!

Now if you use crossfire will work in window mode at the chosen resolution, you need to change it to full screen mode, it's in the patch notes btw.

It's not hard, it's simply annoying. I really liked it where I could do some other things while CF was running, but start a game right away tho. It's just really annoying the way it is right now.

True now my second screen is useless while CF is running but some people may like it, it depends on what you are doing.

Windows Mode is a new kind of option to play in windowed mode without getting in full screen. It has been added in CF chinese, North America, Español (South America)... very soon in CF Vietnam and CF Brasil (South America).
