You cannot get anywhere with this. Unless every player/team signs a contract stating liability for any wrong doing. As these tournaments are just register and play, I doubt anything can be done. Could try a player union like some of the major sport leagues do.

A player union for a game that has 7 teams? Be glad you have a league at all, none the less one that gives out real money.
