How is it so many play on 125hz ;-;
I used to play on incredibly high settings and now hover around 500 hz, 700dpi, 12 in game rifle , 34 scope.
I keep trying to switch to 125hz but my aim goes for a crap and my cursor stops often. Like I'll be panning quickly to someone and never make it on time because it's like it stops picking up movement... I played with in game and dpi to gain some speed with the freq change but no combo seems to work
. It's either twitchy as hell or doesn't pick up my movements lol

I had the same problem with the razor abyssus (I think it was). If not played on 1000hz the mouse would stop as you flick even with perfect mouse elevation. It only detects slow movement. So yeah, its your mouse. I switched to deathadder and its better. -
Everybody plays on different settings and which ever you're more comfortable playing with. These forum posts are pointless

Depending on your mouse, if you game at low sens, you're going to have problems keeping accurate movement at 125hz.
Although I have used the deathadder 3g optical competitively in this game at 125hz with very low sens without any problems. I remember I used to have to clean my sensor every once in a while or it would start acting up. Same thing with your mouse pad if it's getting old.
You can try 250hz and see where that takes you. -

to make it simple; 125hz is the way to go. Anything higher will make your right to left movements feel like waves
