Why I am no longer with ESL
Hey guys just wanted to start off by first of all saying that I will not be going anywhere so don't worry I plan to stay and help the community in other ways.
One of which is that I will be officially joining ESG as an admin to help them continue forward and be a strong presence in esports and bring you guys some great events for crossfire.
I want to let you know a little about my experience with ESL and why the decision to fire me was made.
Basically the short of it was I was having conversation on mumble where I was discussing what I feel to be some of ESL's flaws. That conversation was sent to ESL and they took it as me trying to slander their name when this is not at all what my intentions were. Everything I have done for ESL was in order to make it better for this community, I dug deep into everything with a goal. In order to make cheating much more difficult and make the league better I went above and beyond and for this it ended up being what hurt me in the end.
Its a shame that conversation was taken as a clip out of context and all that was seen was the negative. Everyone who knows me and what I do for ESL knows well that I put my time and effort into helping this community. ESL for the past year has seemed to ignore most of the improvements I have asked for and its a shame, but at this time I don't want to hold any hard feelings to them. They made a professional decision based on what was sent to them and I will leave it at that. I think it will be hard for them to find someone who will care about crossfire and be able to put their time and dedication into the league in the way I did. Knowing pretty much every player on a first name basis and keeping involved with what they wanted to see happen was and always will be my top priority.
I wish ESL the best of luck without me, and hope they can still manage to keep their crossfire section in tact, but only time will tell. I hope for your support as go to continue my work as an admin with the guys at ESG who have kindly brought me into their team and we look forward to bringing you guys some new and exciting things as we move forward. It is a pain I can't be there to admin the remainder of WCA, but I hope this will be an eye opener to ESL so they can really have someone step up and make the changes they need to do for the sake of ESL Crossfire.
Thanks for the support guys, and it means a lot that people are emailing them, posting, and giving me support. I don't have any intentions on returning to ESL at this time even if their decision was reversed or they asked me back, I feel its best for me at this time to move on. I will do my best to bring you a great experience in ESG and bring some great events for you guys and continue to make things the best I can for this community.

ESG is a corrupted fawking league with some airheads running it.
When you were part of ESL there was actually a fair league to play in.(not sure whats happening with ESL, didnt read whole post)
But now that you are joining ESG its either going to be good or its going to be bad. Youre either gonna fall into their corruption or your going to fix it.
We will see. -
I dont like this. Not one bit.

Not entirely sure the past issues you have with them, but if you let me know I can try and address any concerns you may have. I plan on using the same approach I used in ESL (Being as consistent and unbiased as possible) in ESG. -

dont act like you dont already know the past issues. smh -
Not sure what anything we've done was "corrupt". I do completely agree with you that many of my decisions weren't at all the best, but they weren't corrupt. I did what I thought was best and it's apparent that wasn't always right.
I respect Zzxq's knowledge, experience and dedication to run quality events so I'm glad to have someone on board who can assist in making better decisions moving forward. -

Please give proof to back up your claims. I see everyone saying that ESG is corrupt but they never offer any proof.
You changed the rules in the middle of a qualifier to un-disqualify Ace Gaming.
Twice.
Yet you DQ'd other teams for the exact same offenses.
Furthermore, there was a period of time where people could simply not run your anticheat, and you had no way of knowing. -

I remember this. Definitely bias and unfair. Also Kyle was ALWAYS AVAILABLE for communication whether on facebook or skype in the esl chat.
It literally takes ESG 2-3 to respond to any threads or even PMs. I mean I understand the life outside of administration but you have to be more available. -

probably because every thread made with proof was deleted
i very distinctly remember ace gaming showing up to a match against my team 2 hours late and after already having been advanced in the bracket for a few hours, we were told to replay or get dq'd. A few of my teammates then proceeded to open a ticket about the situation, in which all of them were told to shut up or get banned. (Ace gaming got advanced, I still want my $100) -

You complain about certain rules for weeks, then when it gets changed, you call it biased?
Anyhow, Kyle will be working with Polleus to run ESG events. If you have any questions or concerns, he will still be available for you to contact. Iceman and myself will focus on ESG behind the scenes.
Also, ESG has always had a website that we told you to go to for support, posting on the z8games website is not the medium we told you to use to contact us. Perhaps if you followed directions, you would have received a better response time.
To Ellustrial:
Yes, there were problems with the anti-cheat at one point like you say. However, those issues were resolved. In subsequent events, we were able to track teams who did not have enough players on the anti-cheat as well as those who attempted to ban evade. I did not try to hide the fact that this was a problem, and I was upfront with the community about fixing it.
I have personally voted down rule changes or doing anything that would give any team an advantage over another. The reason I've told teams to play their matches is that I dislike teams advancing using FFW's or disputes. This has become such a problem in the community, that ESG has implemented a new system to reschedule matches that were not played due to a FFW. Teams should not advance "into the money" by using disputes or FFW's in competitive play, and in ESG they will not. -

LMAO you let support tickets sit for days unanswered so nice try. -
That's in the pass. They have more staff now, so just settle down and look forward to better tournaments.
You are right but he is acting like they were so responsive to all tickets and issues.
I look forward to thing getting better under Kyle's administration -
guys i was just joking. ESG isnt corrupt they just have and show the willingness to act dishonestly in return for personal gain.
cus after all ESG is an unscrupulous logging company assisted by dishonest officials.
Trio 2014 never forget.
