Attention Mercs,

Rumors from the field have made their way back to HQ. Something's out there waiting for us. We've heard reports of soldiers dropping one at a time, the only indication of the attack coming being a small crack just before they do.

The few that survived managed to push forward and laid eyes on the predator hunting them. A sleek, black, anti-material sniper rifle with glowing red eyes. According to the reports "it almost seemed to pulse and breath while it lay there."

The user of this terrible weapon has yet to be apprehended. But his abandoned rifle will serve us quite well in the coming days. We will make a move to replicate this rifle so that all mercenaries can strike this fear into the hearts of our enemies.

From June 3rd to June 9th, any mercenary worth their salt will be eligible to pre-order the Barrett-Obsidian Beast.
