Won't Start

Hi everyone. So here's the thing:
A friend of mine has a computer that has the requisits to play CF (8Gb RAM, etc) and he has Win7.

He downloaded and installed the game and when he press's the Start button, a window pop's up asking the adminstrator to 'allow cf_patcher' and he clicks Yes. The problem is, that after that nothing happens, CF just won't start. He reinstalled, downloaded it again and the problem still is the same.

I already went there and runned as Administrator and went to properties > Compatibility > Run in compatible Mode but I can't fix it neither.

Looked for it in the Internet, saw many people with the same problem but no one with the solution. Anyone can help?

Make sure crossfire.exe, CF_G4box.exe, HGWC.exe, and patcher_cf.exe are allowed full permissions through your firewall.

CF should run fine with Windows 7, you shouldn't need to run under compatibility for previous versions.

Yea my first thought was that, but still I did it anyway... I'll tell him to allow it in the Firewall and I will say if it worked or not. Ty in advance.
