Banned for no reason?

Hey CF Mods. I was playing crossfire and my computer's screen faded to black due to low battery. When I plugged back in my charger, my game was still open but I got banned. It says I am banned for five minutes (which I obviously can wait out) but will it affect my account? I have put money into my account and from what I know, a certain amount of bans results in a permanent ban. All I want to know is a)why did this happen? and b) Is there any way to reverse the strike on my account?

It doesn't affect your account, several people have been getting this it is just an error caused by X-trap; However What will affect your account is if you get a 3 day ban. Bans I believe go like this: 3 days for first, 7 days for 2nd, 14 days for 3rd ban, 30 day ban for 4th ban, and 5th ban Is permanent ban. Hope this helped.
