The current tournament is NA only.

Rules

1.1. Matchmedia

Full version of Bandicam is required. Team captains must have Steam as well. All players must record and save their footage in case a team files a protest. The footages must be one video per map. The footage must be at least at 15fps and at 480p with maximum quality. This might change later on.

Note: KEEP THE 16:9 ASPECT RATIO WHEN RECORDING. THAT GOES FOR THE ASPECT RATIO OF THE GAME AS WELL

No watermarks, one part per half in each map. No background music, no editing. Voice chat and game sounds are mandatory.

If there is dispute, the disputed players must upload. To state a dispute, open the match thread* reply with "DISPUTE!!!!" followed by a press of a space bar between the "DISPUTE!!!!" and the message.

e.g. DISPUTE!!!! player001 please upload your footage.

If there is no dispute, any player from each side must upload on the match thread*.

*Match thread will be started by joonhoahn01.

1.2. Screenshots

Any party of each team (preferably a Leader/Captain) must take a screenshot of the scoreboard and upload it at the end of each half within 24 hours of the match. It needs to be in full resolution.*

*Details not yet confirmed.

The screenshots must be uploaded to the match thread, which will be started by joonhoahn01.
The screenshots must be taken before the players leave the game.

1.3. Replays

"Any party of each team must save and upload the replay at the end of the match within 24 hours."

This is unconfirmed. Until then, send the replay via MediaFire. The link should be in the match thread.

1.4. No shows

If your opponent does not show after 20 minutes, you must enter the result as your opponent did not appear in time. Do not enter a default win for yourself.

In the semifinal matches and above the no show time is 10 minutes.

You have to upload a screenshot that shows the date and time, as well as all slots in the waiting room if you want your no show to count.

If the no show happens three times in a single match, the team that still showed up wins by default.

If your opponents forfeit, the screenshot must be taken to show proof. if this is the case, make sure to upload the screenshot of proof on the match thread.

1.5. Overtime

In the regular match, when both teams have 9 points the two teams will enter Overtime. In overtime we will play with the format first team to 6 points. The two teams will switch halves after five rounds have been played (e.g. 3-2, 1-4). The round times remain the same. Kniferound to determine side. If in overtime the score is tied again, the two teams will enter GOLDEN ROUND. The golden round is a sudden death round. One round, winner takes the game. Kniferound to determine sides.

1.6. Missing replays and screenshots

If both teams fail to upload the matchmedia when a protest is filed, the match will not count and have to start again. If one team fails to upload when a protest is filed, the other team wins unless that team is caught cheating.

Breaking this rule will result in a lost round each time the rule is broken. Excessive breaking of this rule however, can result in default loss.

2.22. Bug / Glitch Usage

Bug/Glitch using is not allowed when the game is not meant to be played like that.

Breaking this rule will result in loss of each round the bug/glitch was used in. Excessive breaking of this rule however, can result in default loss.

Known exceptions:

"Double-Jumping" is allowed
C-Step / Asian walk: is allowed
"Stacking/Boosting" is allowed with up to 2 of the 5-player team.
FPS Manipulation of any kind done intentionally is forbidden
Smoke glitching is not permitted
Nade Splitting is allowed but not encouraged as it is abusing a game mechanic flaw
Use of 1 way mirrors or wall glitches is not allowed

Situations coming from the use of stated exceptions can still be in conflict with the basics of this rule and are punishable accordingly. Admins and tournament organizers make the decision whether or not a rule was broken. They determine the punishment.

Format
There is room for eight teams divided into two groups. The two groups would be held in double-elimination format. Then, the top two teams from each group advance to the semifinals. The winners of the semifinals advance to the Grand Final.

Teams win a match by winning two out of three maps. It will be three out of five maps in the Grand Final.

UPDATE!!!!: Due to the new format of some of the tournaments, we are just going to kniferound all maps.

If sixteen teams sign up, the tournament will be in a single elimination format, with no prep phase and all maps kniferounded at the beginning of each map instead.

If more than sixteen teams sign up, a joint decision amongst those involved in running this tournament will be made.

Both semifinals and the Grand Final will be casted!

Match Days: Mondays-Fridays and Sundays at 20:00 or 8pm EDT (this is not yet confirmed)

Prizes
First Place winner gets 50,000 ZP overall, courtesy of C4URSELF (a.k.a. AKIO_BUM in the forums). Tough luck for everyone else.

I forgot to tell you, you'll be playing two seasons. The prizes for both seasons are 50,000 ZP each.
Both seasons are expected to end by mid-July. We are looking for referees as well.
