X-Trap Error

Hello Guys!

Coming to you with an unusual issue. I try many scenario as in Restarting my PC and re-installing my CF 2 times and i see no results. Below I attach the Image of my issue with X-Trap.

I did submit a report, thought I reach out to the forumers and see if you guys have the similar issue and have a solution to fix this. And hope I can play the Escape Mode tournament.

I'm getting this error many times now and it's annoying because I cannot play. I don't get it, game was fine yesterday. They should fix this ASAP as there's a Tuesday Twist event coming up. I don't want to miss out on some crates because of a dumb error on their part

True, I missed out on "Log in and Play" event cause of this error. Now I have the Escape Mode tournament to attend and practice and I cant so far cause of this error.

I keep getting this error also. I play for about a minute and then the xtrap error comes up...

It will keep happening all the time. Also the most I can last in the game is 15 seconds the most, after 15 seconds or less the game closes.

wtf is happening here, i got a xtrap error recently. how do i sort this solution? i spent almost $600+ for 2weeks for playing this game and its giving me hassle?? and z8games ddnt responded my email/issue.. **** this im going to call my credit company and request a refund for my purchase!!

Same thing is happening to me.

I keep getting x-trap error 08-0400-00000000-507 this wasn't happening the day before i usual just get random hack tools and banned for 5 mins which is stupid but at least i can deal with that but iv'e been getting these i mailed a support to x trap people and now i'm here i've read that you need to turn off anti. virus, stop programs in backgorund, delete x trap folder, reinstall cf, etc. none of which have worked the cilent opens for literally a mintue then closes. I'm really mad about this issues.

Am having the same problem. I been trying many times to play a single game but it kicks me out. Is it us or Crossfire.?

I keep getting this error, after an hour of logging in and joining a game it finally allowed me to play with no problems. Soon after I closed my client came back on and the error is back. So word of advise if you happen to get it to work do not close your client.

EDIT: Many of my friends are having the problem as well so it's their side, not ours.

It's kind of a nuisance when they have events but break the game. Not saying this is Z8's fault but, XTrap has some horrible timing when it comes to glitches.

Indeed, I basically have 1 day to get a team or join a team for tournament. X-Trap is now allowing me to do so.

Well as for me, I say its CF cause I don't have any program running that is a cause and effect for X-Trap to act like that.

Well, its obviously something to do with a program interfering with x-trap it could be a recently installed windows update or a conflicting program, make sure that your antivirus isn't messing with x-trap and crossfire. Try to uninstall any recent windows updates if you installed any recently, Open Installed Updates by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Programs, and then, under Programs and Features, clicking View installed updates.
Select the update that you want to remove, and then click Uninstall. If that doesn't work make sure no programs are conflicting open your task manager by Ctrl + Alt + Delete on windows 8 and on windows 7 just right click the bottom near the start button and select "start task manager" then go over to the running processes and stop any programs that don't need to be running for example Steam, Oovoo, ETC whatever programs you might have open close them. You might wanna take a look here

My solution :
I go to Bitdefender main window and just disable antivirus (choose disable until restart pc) and ALSO disable intrusion detection (no need to turn off other options)

So if you are using other anvitirus program just turn-it off before launch CF , then turn back on after you finish playing.

Ok awesome! I'll give that a try right now...
