@z8 Mods (Especially Celestine)
The thread saying that you were experiencing connection issues was a week ago. I still haven't been able to connect to the game as I as well as many other players are recieving the error 'Failed to connect to server.' So I thought I'd help out a bit by doing my own troubleshooting.
1. Uninstalling and reinstalling the game using cc cleaner does not work. I still receive the exact same error.
2. On some days I have been able to log in after trying to load my game for a few hours. As soon as I disconnect i can not get back on. Over this last week I've managed to play around an hour of crossfire.
3. Adding it to my exceptions on my antivirus is also not the problem as I have done this.
4. I have gone into my cmd and ran commands ipconfig /flushdns. I have tried other things in cmd also but to no success.
4. I can actually connect to the game just fine either using my phones 4g (Which is unrealistic as it costs me money per minute) Or by using a vpn such as flyvpn (Which also isn't free and gives me over three hundred ping).
5. I have opened the ports on my router to especially allow crossfire through which also didn't work - The issue is on your side.
This means the issue is within the ip addresses of certain players. This has happened before and it took over a week to fix... Surely it can not take that long again if you have already fixed this issue in the past. Also celestine... How can you leave players not knowing how long the game will take to fix? You haven't updated the thread in six days - Are you even working on this issue anymore? You have to keep your community in the know that is just common customer service. Really unprofessional. I would like a response to my support ticket where I explained this in more detail four days ago... I also sent one two months ago with the same issue which still hasn't had a reply to.

Far_Q you are not the only person that this is affecting.I am getting failed to connect to server also .It has been 8 days for me now. I have gone through the motions of reinstall etc. This problem happened to me about 6 months ago too also after an event was announced.That time i could not log in for 2 weeks and then all of a sudden the game started working again.The 2 errors i keep getting are same as before which are FAILED TO CONNECT TO SERVER and THE CONNECTION WITH THE SERVER IS DISCONNECTED W [2004] L [0] . This is not a pc problem.This is a crossfire problem. Another thing check crossfire status on mmo server and you will see a question mark next to z8 game security,what is that all about? BTW support just do not read what the problem is as they just send out standard replies which bear no relation whatsoever to the problem that was put before them. Come on smilegate give us a break and let us log back in.FIX please.
