Can't change (non existing) email / security question

Hello.

I'm back in crossfire after years of inactivity.
I wanted to start with new informations, like by updating mail & security question.
The thing, I tryied to ask the support, with several tickets explaining things under a different angle, but I always got that stupid automatic answer telling me about "not enough correct informations".

I say this is stupid because (unlike the screenshot says in this forum, within the thread about Account administration) you need 3 pieces of informations.

When I made my account, I don't think I had to enter a birth date. Bad point since I would have had this information correct. Then I need 3 correct pieces of informations and I can fill... 3 fields. It means that I have absolutely no way to make a mistake.
Add to this the fact that my security question is "..." (seriously, why weren't there premade questions ?) so I can't know what I should write since it was years and years ago. Then comes the account creation date. This is the worst information you could ever ask, since no one could remember that. By checking your email you'll tell me ? There's a problem, my mail adress DOESN'T exist anymore. Plus it's @hotmail, which has been replaced by outlook, and we can no more create @hotmail adresses.

So currently, the account I'm talking about is linked to a non existing account. By luck, I could tell you about any other information (that would still be in my memory after those years), even regarding the email. The thing is that I can't explain that to the support, because they keep closing my ticket as soon as I open one because all the fields are not correct. If the security question was clearer, I could also be able to answer it since I'm the owner, the one that made the account, and none have access to any information concerning it.

To sum this up, I'm forced to post there + with this account because the Account Administration support seems enough unqualified to avoid reading a lot of tickets, and I haven't even been able to post to this forum with the concerned account.

I hope I can get a human answer on the forums at least.

This information is asked simply to insure that the the person trying to get the account is the actual account owner, It's the account creators responsibility to keep their account secure, in the event that an account may be compromised it is your obligation to provide as much information as possible, from there the Z8 games account administration team will determine if you are or aren't eligible to retrieve the account with the information you provided; It's no one else's fault aside from your own. Kind Regards, -Boo
  • I love the way responsibilities are thrown away.

Are you thinking that this security system is perfect ?
I've been back to some other games, and I must say that Z8games is the only place where no one is able to talk with you to resolve a conflict. They do NOT try to help you with your account problems, it seems like they just try to close as much tickets as they can, without helping or answering.

That's what contributes to a game reputation : support quality.
And I must say that so far, I'm really confused about it, because it seems that there's no support at all, but just a bot answering that they can't help you, with always the same text.

I agree that the owner must pay attention with its account, but informations like account creation date has no sense. Plus, when your mail doesn't exist anymore, support should be able to say something else than "ugh sorry reading informations you're providing is impossible because you don't know the exact account creation date ! You could know anything about it but we don't care so don't spend much effort on it !".

Like you have admitted yourself, It is the account holders Responsibility; now I'm not saying the support team is perfect but they try their very best. For example someone had stolen my old account, m4 ob, and other weps. I tried around 4-5 times couldn't get it back, after that I waited like 1-2 months then tried again, providing them with pictures of me winning the guns and when/what time I won them, dates of when I ranked, previous igns ect... Point is I got my account back. I believe you can still create the email address as ___@Hotmail.com although I believe if you had an @live.com address it is no longer available, Anyways I hope this helped you out. Kind Regards, -Boo
  • I don't really think they're trying their best since they're not even trying.
But my account wasn't even stolen !
I still have it and no one has my password, so the problem isn't there; it's just for the principle. Not being able to change informations about my own account isn't acceptable, that's why I'm complaining.

Plus, @hotmail.com / @hotmail.fr are no more possible to create since it has been replaced by @outlook adresses. I've searched on the web ways to recreate my mail, but there's no solution.

The thing is, the name of my mail adress (that I won't give there for obvious reasons) has a signification that I could totally explain if the support wasn't closing tickets with the same automatic message everytime.

I could also tell the support about what i've got on the account since its creation, but once again, they're not listening to me. I just want someone to hear me, I know that i can prove my ownership but only if they let me this chance
