Open LAN
There seems to be people that are misinformed about the WCA Open LAN in Seattle, WA.
I pointed out before that there will be qualifiers open to all teams that would like to participate. You cannot just show up to the LAN, you need to place in the multiple qualifiers to earn a spot. As the 1st qualifier tournament was just for invited teams, the open lan is for any teams that do place in the open qualifiers.
There will be more info about when and how the qualifiers will take place.

The tournament we just had was "invite". Only "invited" teams could participate in the event due to their pass records.
The "OPEN" LAN has qualifiers that is "open" to anyone that wants to sign up including those that just played in the invite and those that did not play in invite.
Im assuming Kyle knows more, but I think there will be a teams from NA, CA, and SA. Meaning that there will be qualifiers from all three versions of CrossFire Americas. So there might be 8 teams total at LAN (4 from NA, 2 from CA, 2 from SA) but this is just a hypothetical assumption. -

It should be "OPEN QUALIFIERS" rather than OPEN LAN considering they're 2 different things -

Are you implying Crossfire is as important as sports, or even on the same level as playing a sport?
LOL.
It's time to step outside. You've been spending too much time on the computer. -
