Windows update on 8.1

I recently turned my pc on after a gaming break. Anyways I remember from before a certain update on 8.1 caused cf not to work. anyways I am curious if anyone knows which update this is by chance, I can't find it any where the old forum and google post got berried and I just want cf again :P Anyways thanks for any effort! Cheeers.

Yeah, windows 8.1 works with CF.

I have Windows 8.1 and it works.

nonono i mean you know weekly daily updates or whatever. there was one in particular that crashed the game.
