HGW game watcher stuck on step 13 forever, how to fix it?

Maybe your antivirus block the HGWC.exe ?!

Try to start HGWC as admin! C:\Program Files (x86)\Z8Games\CrossFire search for HGWC, right click with your pc mouse and start it as administrator.

Nope its added as exclusion in antivirus(I am using avast btw) also tried running as admin.

Also tried re-installing the game, nothing works.

Avast... avast dont like CrossFire and X-Trap, only a clean full uninstall of avast helps you if you want play CF. Trust me and try it.

Removed avast, still the same.

You can't play CF from your region.

kk i understand that but why there are restrcited areas> old days i could play from my reagion and now i cannot! crossfire europe quality is really bad it has constantly problems with login lagg and furthermore problems! this is way bettern than europe and it has also better players! old days i could play here so it is really pitty that i cannot now! i believe that this thing with the restricted areas is really unfair!

It has nothing to do with unfairness if you can't play CFNA from Europe but only with current license agreement. Everybody who played CFNA before August 3rd, 2011 can still play from Europe as those accounts are white listed. However, new players will be blocked from their region if another CF version exist from where they want to play.

We and all other CF versions are bound on the license agreements. Thank you for understanding.
