I apologize for the hiatus. We have been working hard the past couple of months to get our new website up and running. Obviously there are still some kinks, but you guys will be seeing all of it pretty soon. I'm excited to bring you guys some new opportunities in the upcoming events.

Just to provide you guys with a little teaser, I want to share with you the new rule set we plan on opening with. It's the first step in expanding how we run events at ESG. Think of it as a stepping stone to bigger and better things. More to come soon. Stay tuned.

Out of curiosity, why'd you delete the other thread?
On a side note, the only things I don't really like are the camo ak and factory (unless its 7 round halves?)

Oh and since you don't have standard by the regular grenade, does that mean we can use lke heart grenades and what not?
Also is bag 5 actually not allowed, along with m4 crystal (not blue crystal, the m4silver with blue skin)

i don't like eagle eye because its basically just a smaller version of ankara, and factory because its so one-sided. Other than that looks good.

Also note that the aug camo and ak camo have easier spray patterns than the regular ones. Change it to Ak-silver please. More people have that one anyway

Aug Camo to be added possibly? I don't want to get too crazy with weapons. I just figured some variety into how some of the old WOGL seasons were set up might be a welcomed change.

I could add Compound into maps.

The AK Silver is already there, the question was whether or not to remove the AK Camo because it isn't just a skin and ammo, it's significantly easier to spray.

also, will the navy seal be legal? ;p

I don't wanna make any big posts right now, but the AK-Camo and M4-Silver should not be allowed. I'm also relatively certain that the AUG Camo has ridiculously easy spray also. The other guns aren't as different as far as I know. AK Silver is better than the AK regular, but not to the extent that the Camo is. M4 Silver literally has no recoil though. I honestly like it better in pubs than the M4 VIP.

Hey Polleus,
I was wondering why the Crystal guns from the FP Mall are not being allowed? These weapons are available to everyone and therefore should be legal (unlike the m4 silver).

As to the comments about easier weapons to use, this is not just for people who are already decent at the game. We're trying to bring in new people and new teams and that will most likely come from the pub players (rather than players from outside of CF). We're trying to open things up and then narrow down a select few teams to form an upper division later on with a smaller, more strict rule set.

1. I'm not sure. I can't say for certain that they will let us use a different ruleset for a Qualifier than what they have for their rules (Dont know what ruleset they are going to use yet).

2. Yes. I'm thinking this can eventually build into a lower tier / upper tier setup, where a select few teams will comprise a more strict and challenging division.

What about AWM blue crystal? It's much easier to get than the AWM camo because it's in the FP mall and those who don't regularly buy ZP probably don't have the camo. The AWM Camo is also lighter and reloads faster than the regular AWM.

AWM Blue Crystal doesn't do 100 through boxes to the head at distances of 95m or more (think A long Ankara, mid doors BW, T spawn Port)
Edit: Dunno why that's relevant, but they can't exactly include all 500 niche guns that aren't OP...it's much easier to streamline to a few.


Armor should not be allowed, ever. Pretty much every non-5-ping competitive player agrees (looking at you, Kanata)

Awm blue would be tight, I think alot of snipers would enjoy having 10 bullets because let's be real, nobody wants to spend zp just for a camo even with the disadvantage that the awm blue has that Reid stated.
