Going crazy ....

Hi guys, I tried everything to find the solution to the problem I will now announce, but of course without success.
Everytime I play Crossfire, it kinda stutters, for example it freezes every 2 seconds for a second. The framerate is really smooth with a range from 60-100 constantly.
I do not understand why this happens, because the game runs on a cheap system perfectly (1GHz, 512MB SD RAM, 7300GT).
Now Im running the game on a 2,8GHZ system with 1 gig DDR2 ram and a 9700 Pro.
Not the best of systems but I wont get a newer one for a few months.
Ive turned off my Kaspersky Security Suite, and even let Gameboost do its job.
But hell no, it still happens. I would love to get some help, because its driving me mad.

I know that it aint the best of cards but I dont seriously think that the 9700 is causing this.
It aint the servers either, and it for sure aint the performance from the card, because at everything high it runs at 100 FPS, and everything set to low even faster, but the lag still carries on.
Anybody have a solution ....

I would suspect your ISP. But thats all I can think of. Maybe something with you ISP is spiking your signal. How about other games? or streaming applications?

Hey guys I just found out the problem.
Apparently my old Firewall that I actually deinstalled was running in the background all the time!
Hate on McAfee.
So Kaspersky and McAfee running at same time = Lag in Crossfire.
And Im sure in many other applications too.
