Yep, getting disconnected probally has to do with an unstable internet connection but i dont get why they have to ban u for 1-5 min as a result.

i believe they ban you because when you lost internet all of the sudden the servers didnt get a log out response and when you your IP is not responding it auto bans u for a small time to kick you off the servers so you can log in again.... otherwise your character will float around the lobbies :P taking up server bandwidth and space costing them more money....
