*Prizes are expected to change depending on amount of teams registered.
Virtual Gaming Series is proud to announce the registrations for the CrossFire Public League Launch Tournament! The event features a total prize pool of $800 and is expected to increase according to the amount of registered teams and clans. We are also excited to announce that the tournament is open to both North American and European players, and the surrounding supported areas of CrossFire. We would live to invite all public clans, teams, and competitive teams to register, compete, and win!
The event is proudly sponsored by PCGameSupply.com and supported by G2A.com, who will be also offering prizes throughout the tournament.

** ROSTER CHANGES: It is your teams responsibility to keep your rosters up-to-date and that all players are properly registered. If your roster is found not up to date, such as players who were not signed up, your team will removed from confirmed and be placed on a waiting list. All teams not up to date or improper roster changes were made, those teams will be removed prior to the tournament release date. If you need to change your roster or a player you can PM me here on the forums or you can e-mail admin@vgsonline.org with your Team Name and the players you want to replace.
*The list is updated on free time. If you don't see your team approved and you've applied it's more than likely just delayed. If there is a problem with your registration an administrator will contact your Team Captain via Z8 Forums.
This tournament is currently working out the probability of an anti-cheat. More will be announced further down the road with registrations but no promises as of yet.

is this tournament weekly Chase ? Or it's a Monthly thing ?
This is just a launch tournament to see how things go. If it goes good we plan to do much more.
Edit:
And for the sponsors. PCGameSupply is supplying gamecards for ZP (or use it for other things) just haven't decided on the type of prepaid card. G2A is still in the making but have confirmed support of our organization. Cash prizes will be distributed by prepaid VISA cards, or if we you want cash I'll work something out with the winning teams. -
FAQ
- When is the tournament?
A: There is no official date as of yet. We are judging this tournament on the amount of teams that register, and so far our cap limit has been set to 15 teams. Once that has been reached we will announce. Also would like to point out if we get 25 active teams in the tournament we will be raising the prize pool! $150 per placement! (ZP placement is +20k ZP)
- Do you have a website?
A: Not right now, it's currently under development. For now we use our Official Mumble Server (vgs.mumble.com Port: 8996) and these forums for direct communication. Our website will be released prior to tournament information.
- Who is running the tournament?
A: The Tournament is supported by Virtual Gaming Series, a newly ecstablished gaming tournament organization that has included CrossFire on it's list! The tournament will be ran by our hand picked league administrators who will be your support throughout the series.
- Prizes.
A: Prizes are being primarily funded by Virtual Gaming Series and their affiliates. The official sponsor for the event is PCGameSupply.
"I've never played competitive before..."
A: That's alright! This Public League was released specifically for the public sector of CrossFire with invitations to competitive teams. Further down the road, depending how this league goes, we will introduce a sub division for proven competitive teams. No promises as of yet. -
Tournament has reached a total of 32 teams! List has been updated for approved teams, more information will be announced soon.
So there is multiple versions playing this event? What kind of server rules will be in play? Also can teams still sign up? I know a few who are still interested. -
