  • This game should be ran more like Old School RuneScape. In that game they have polls and the players get to vote on what they want. For example, I would vote on having GSG9 because I think it's a fun and fair character to have, unlike spops (idc about hitboxes)
And I thought UK players were already allowed to play esl? The only reason I don't play is because I'm not even allowed to attempt CFS qualifiers. But that's when Saidin was around and didn't look into it / contact any one.
  • A map of Santoria/Ceyhan/The Mine should be added and all AK and M4 variants should be allowed imo (top leagues in vietnam and other asian countries have played like this so let's bring some more fun in the game; fact of the matter is silenced m4 was a great gun along with the K-2. Let's not dispute the fact that playing a game with silencer is an added element of the game where let's say said flanker can shoot without his bullets being heard; thus making more 4-1 rush strategies more useful instead of generally top shot players rushing places 'aimlessly' and rounds finishing in 2 seconds (this will generally make viewers enjoy the game more thus making matches more enjoyable ((see any cn matches crouch peaking into corners etc..)) and overall encourage more creativity.

tl;dr - add another 2 maps for veto Ceyhan/The Mine I am good with, indifferent with Santoria/EE maybe?

-m4 siencer because in theory it could add a needed element of the game which has been lacking and it has merit since it has been used in better leagues..

-all ak variants allowed and any type of melee

armour needs to have a serious discussion in this/next season to emulate pro play

-i would allow league designated sprays (salty?)

-i would add the GSG9 skin

trolling results in 190 lbs coming at ya CFStars LAN (unless you're garrett) which will be held next to my hotel with my trophy and a container full of marlboros, with polish security guards

Juicebox if you're reading this nice to meet you; let me get you caught up.
  • I think m4 silencers and AK variants such as silver and camo should be allowed.
  • Cehyan
    GSG9 please
    Armor
    Awm camo allowed
  • K2 and AK camo/silver, AWP variants (excluding inferno) and M4 varients (excluding custom and other overpowered varients) should have always been allowed. The current rule set has never helped out teams considering international teams play under a different format entirely to what CF NA is used to. Even 1 XM8 per team wouldn't be too bad.

xm8? snsd players might be decent again

keep the same gun rules, just add maps
  • more maps. more guns
    characters shouldnt even matter
  • no new guns or chars (gsg9 or w/e is fine). New maps but no more than 2
  • add ceyhan/factory armor, every single version uses armor in there competitive leagues even ESL in Europe

  • add compound. Don't allow armor, reg is already ass enough. Don't allow skins/ wallbang guns they all have extremely easy recoil and spraying capability this is not needed in the pro league.
  • Let us play Ceyhan!!!! Give the community what they want!!!!!
  • Yeah, so I thought I'd put my two cents in.

I am against the "Pro" division having gun variants and armor. The reg on CFNA is so awful and armor just makes it worse. Add in to that how much our AK has been fcked and it is GG for armor.

Gun variants. I see no point in putting in easier guns for the Pro division. The whole point of us playing is to go to CFStars and to win. We have no other big tournaments to look forward to that would have gun variants. Also, easier guns = lower skillcap. The guns in CF are already easy enough to use, why bring in guns with even easier recoil, silencers, and a faster resting time (time between taps or bursts)?

To argue against the "Since both can use the easier guns, then it is fair" argument. Example: For this example we will take 2 players, player A is the best player in CF and player B is a medium level CF player. With normal guns, player A has a rating of 10/10 where player B has a 5/10. With the easier guns (wallbang guns, easier recoil guns like the AK Camo, m4silver, etc) Player A will still hit the cap of skill with those guns at 10/10, but player B will take a "rise" in the skill gap because of the easier gun to a 7/10. This doesn't make Player A worse than Player B, but it gives Player B, who has less skill, more of a chance to create an upset or luckily win battles or rounds vs A.

All in all, putting easier guns in the Pro division does nothing but give the lesser teams more of a chance to get through. As such an unpopular version of CF, we cannot afford to send a team that is not actually our best, and using normal guns is a way to truly realize who the best is.

I love armor at LAN and in other versions because I am better with the AK than I am with the M4, but I seriously hate CFNA with armor. For some odd reason, it truly does cause more noregged shots and odd damages. I play and have played other versions of CF and feel like armor is actually good for competitive on their versions, but yeah, our AK being so weird and the horrible reg is just a no.

TLDR: Easier guns = Lesser players having more of a chance against better players. Armor causes too much no reg and weird damage on CFNA so I vote no on that. I would be fine with armor, but do not think it is a good idea.

New things I would like added:
    1. Some version of the AWM that has 10 bullets but that is still not better in other areas (reload time, pullout time, etc). Because all other versions have a regular 10 bullet AWM and it is just better that way.

    2. Other versions of the regular knife allowed. (Black knife, laser knife, etc). As long as they aren't actually better than the regular knife. It would make it more fun to see different knives!

    3. Maps: Only maps that I think are competitively viable is The Mine and Ceyhan. I have good arguments vs the other maps, but I don't feel like typing anymore. Ask me if you need the reasoning for the other maps being competitively bad.

    4. A Pro and Open division is fine. If there are 2 divisions made, the Open should probably have weapon variants to make it more fun for people.

Can't think of anything else to add for now

I can see nothing more patriotic then SPOP ANGEL WINGS WITCHS HAT AND M4 USA

That's the perfect metaphor for the united states being so sexy and magical while looking out for all the other countries who are less fortunate.
  • get cf to fix their game

    - After the new league changes ALL TEAMS from this version will be allowed to play. This includes UK and NA!

Is this a change or is it just a reminder that we'll be able to participate? If there's going to be changes this would probably be a good time to think about a UK section.
  • Add the matchmaking the same as CF-EU - ''Esl Versus.'' This makes it one hundred times easier to pug; It removes any possibility of stacked teams; It adds a competitive edge to just doing a pug (People like to see their win percentage high); It lets people play on client; It allows players who maybe don't have a team or teams that only have two or three people on to play together against others.

It can't be that hard to implement surely; It's already been coded and everything for esl eu.

As for maps - I think Factory/Ceyhan Could be added to the map pool. When doing the 'Esl Versus...' I think more maps like Compound/Santoria & The Mine Should also be added for the matchmaking only (As they're mainly fun). I don't think Eagle Eye should be added because it is pretty much the same map layout as Ankara anyway.

I think with the guns you have to be careful with what people can use. Although there is a big choice right now - People generally only use the AK/M4/AUG/AWM (Or in Smasher's case the Scar Heavy). The XM8 Is a stupid idea because it has full wallbang... Which changes the game completely. An AWM With ten bullets would be good but only some variants which are highly overpowered compared to the regular awm. The K-2 Is a good choice; The reason it was banned from WOGL Originally was because once you died no one else could pick it up (It was bugged). When the game fixed the issue it just didn't come back.

I think if you are going to make changes don't make them all at once.

There is going to be more UK friendly rules, however unless there is 16 or more UK teams we won't be able to have a separate section for UK Teams, but if you think there is 16 or more teams from the UK who would play their own division I would consider discussing it as an option
