Hi takitos,
This error sometimes happens when your Anti-Virus/ Firewall doesn't allow some aspects of the game to run normally. To prevent this error, you need to put CrossFire files (the entire CrossFire folder) as an exception in Anti-Virus & Firewall and reinstall the game.

1) Uninstall the game completely
2) Perform system cleaning (CCleaner)
3) Disable your antivirus' real-time protection
4) Re-download the game from our server
5) Install the game
6) Add the entire crossfire folder to your antivirus exceptions
7) Re-enable real-time protection -

HELP OR NO. i have pay 1000eu on my acc and now can't play -
Hi download this version.ini file from me and replace this downloaded file with your old version.ini file! Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Z8Games\CrossFire say YES to replace this file.

Try running patcher_cf.exe directly instead of opening it via launcher!
patcher_cf.exe is located in your C:\Program Files\Z8Games\Crossfire Folder.
Look for patcher_cf.exe in there... Remember if you are a Vista or 7 user, RUN patcher_cf.exe as ADMIN! -

1. Uninstall it
2. Go to C://Programme files
3. Delete the folder called "z8games"
4. Download the newest setup from here: http://crossfire.z8games.com/downloads2.aspx
5. Install Crossfire
6. You are done -

Use the malwarebytes. The malwarebytes is off I have check for virus I not have any virus. I have advanced system care 8 is off and I have check with program. Sorry for bad English. Ok I try -
