CF Semi-Pro League corrupted

Alright so this "Laundry" fellow, is an admin for "Semi-Pro League" and my team played against his team in the tournament. In the earlier game my team had, we played against a team with an admin, which we won with multiple people from another clan (In the rules of the cup you need to have 5 players in the same clan), I asked the earlier game admin if it was okay to play with people from another clan before the match. He said yes.

Now this "Laundry" person is saying we're disqualified due to this rule. (We won the first half and they tried to bs us with different scores etc).

Please, if u want the community to grow, be sportmanlike, own up to things, dont be so corrupted.

I suggest all you people should stay away from this "Semi-Pro League".

I have screenshots and bandicam footage of everything if needed.

there was a misunderstood with admin -k0 k0 didn't read the rules correctly but this is not laundry's fault laundry followed the rules perfectly and you guys didn't . We asked everyone to read the rules almost 50% of the people in this tournament didn't read anything and were mad confused . I mean I don't blame you guys either it's my fault as well for changing the rules 24/7 but you guys need to understand that this is my first time hosting a tournament I think it's normal for me to make mistakes everyone makes mistakes in life . I promise you guys that this tournament will be much more organized for next weekend . For now Unanimous passed to the semi-finals unfortunately I'm really sorry for all of this ~

  • Totally Agree. I still don't get the part why they agreed to start the game. Just because my mate isn't in the same clan? Does that make any difference during the match? Listen, we won the 1st half 5-4. I really wanted a fair game, not this 1 half and saying that we are disqualified for having a guy not in the same clan.

IF YOU AGREE TO PLAY 1 HALF, PLAY THE OTHER ONE ASWELL.

I haven't seen anything like this before, not even in my esl career. Admins shouldn't use their powers to win in a corrupted way. This is why admins shouln't play in the cups.

  • Why is laundry/unanimous5 allowed to play if they're a competitive team? Thought this was for the pub side?

But regardless laundry is regarded as a joke to pretty much everyone so for him to scumbag you is pretty expected

Laundry didn't had any power over this I had power .... you guys did not respect a rule because another admin gave you the wrong information . It is still your mission to make sure you read the rules perfectly and please this is my first tournament ... it's nothing compared to ESL yes but you still need to understand that this tournament is not ESL .
  • Laundry atleast could have answered us when we were asking him why they didnt want to play the 2nd half. Better win a cup with winning and not with being corrupt, just a hint for the next one ;)
    Terror
  • I hate when people do that, play first half and leave second half cause they are losing.

If another admin gave the wrong information then go talk to that admin and tell him/her to read the rules instead. You are the host so make sure your admins know what's going on or what they're talking about.
  • So basicly, due to the incompetence of one admin not telling us its wrong after he said its okay and moved us up from the brackets, we get disqualified? Atleast think it through until you bring up these excuses.

Also, none of this clan membership **** affects the match itself, which they we're too scared to continue.
  • Solid league supplemented by amazing admins like laundry!!!

    10/10 would recommend
  • You gave it an attempt ill give you that but ive hosted tournaments before, and basically you rushed this one. You made rules changes and for that you need a neat large single post for everyone to view in one place. "Its my first time hosting" is not an excuse its understandable but don't use that as an excuse

nobody understands man it's w/e im done .

You tried, which is good, but you have no idea how to setup a tournament or deal with any problems that occur.

it's not an excuse it's a fact ... all I said was that next weekend the tourney will be much more organized , no one has the right to insult me for simple rules . I've went in game and made sure to message everyone to make sure if they read the rules .

which can be fixed ... so the first time you try driving a car your super professional ? obv not it takes quite time but once you have it it's over you love driving a car . Same thing for this ... I love helping but you guys are taking this the wrong way

A jew like you hosted a tourney, ha i've heard them all now

What does jew have anything to do with it? Who are you, do I know you?

In this sense driving a car is a bit different. Compare it to hosting a race tournament, you need to be organized for that. It probably wont be super professional but you need to at least maintain stability. I give you props for the effort of trying to make sure everyone read the rules, but if you made a neat thread that requires everyone to read it then you don't need to babysit them.

yeah.. I know I just hope nobody will lose their hope for the semi-pro league

So let's start with neatly organizing the thread you currently have opened, just edit the first post.
  • I'm confused
Is this esl ( team ) or semi pro league ( clan )

    I see multiple scrim teams

SPL, which I got the idea it was for people that aren't competitive but I guess it's not?
  • Game admins (historically), if they are present, usually have the power to make game-time decisions pertaining to rules. If no game admins are present, obviously the rules that have been previously established are what should be followed. However, if you had a game admin tell them one thing that was different than the rules, then that's the standard that should be followed for that specific match, whether it was wrong or not (from the original rules). If you didn't specify that your game admins do not have the authority to make those changes, then that was something you missed.

You can't just have one administrator tell them something and then tell them that the administrator was wrong in his decision after the game was already played. That's just a wrong move. I speak from experience. These guys will tell you an entire list of wrong decisions we've made as ESG. It's a learning experience and not an easy one.
  • @SPL league admin

You need to make a lot less topics, and just edit on the same topic as you go and post on 1 :l
You've made like 100 different forum topics that it gets confusing.
  • :/ i know it's all my fault ... you can say w/e you want against me I'll take everything.
  • Like others said, make 1 thread and edit that if needed. Also try making it organized and neat so people are more inclined to read it

Also pleaseeeeeee clarify if it's for everyone (competitive teams included) or just for the lesser competitive clans. Me, along with many others, had the impression it was for clans more so than competitive teams, yet unanimous5 was allowed to play
  • Should just list all players and clans
    And if someone sees one
You can remove them from the league
