This is CrossFire, not Star Wars.
Our technology is highly developed, but I do not know of any special force using laser weapons.
omg . u didnt understand what i said
i meant : this laser which outs from gun like a AIM !
Special forces use it in the dark! -

Ahh now I got it. I'm not sure if this would work in CrossFire. Once you managed to move the red dot on your enemy, he most likely already shot you. Laser sights may work in real life where it's about tactics, but not in a game with sprayers and rushers.
PS: Using a laser sight in the dark will reveal your position which makes you to an easy target. -
Not sure it's necessary, like actually helpful..
Laser sights are nice where crosshairs are optional/bad. Crossfire is very fast paced, the guns are easy and the crosshairs are quite obvious themselves.
Be nice if you could blind people with it, or tag them I suppose.. -

if they bring it to CF , it will be awesome
i will buy this gun ** -
i will aim on players eyes .. even i will aim easy to headshot !
Over long range, you won't even see the laser dot, unless you're sniping in which case the scope itself has a red dot in the center.. so I'm not sure in what situation this would be useful.
We don't have hip firing in Crossfire. -
So is there a possible way we can svope on snipers?
But yea the laser won't look right anyways since the cross hair is in the way
they are bad
i want to get this laser ^_^But you use laser sights in close quarters.. where you barely need to aim in CF.

nah . i gonna use it as well in long ranges
i will camp the shot in head !
And then i close the laser and rush with the gun -
But you can't see it at long range.. you can barely see what skin a character is using at long range..
Go to the A train in Black Widow. Have a friend stand behind the barricades.
Can you see what gun he is using? A laser dot is like O < this big, real size. You wouldn't see it.
We're talking about overhauling a lot of the game mechanics if we're going to introduce iron sights (no crosshair on the screen) and hip-firing which is what it would take to make this useful at all.
Sorry. -

Sorry.
so what if it changed to m4a1-laser scope ?
the same scope as SG-522
and the laser still in the gun
what do u think? -
I'm not exactly sure but the last time I checked we have something like this on the XM8. However its not a "real" laser sight just a red dot with no beam, because this is crossfire of course.
I don't mind seeing red dot sights on more guns, I mean, why not?Over long range, you won't even see the laser dot, unless you're sniping.
I'm not sure what laser sights are used on guns like this but that isn't totally true.. I have a class 3B laser and the dot is visible along with a beam of upto 5+ miles and it can be seen from further from my point of view or the person 20 miles down (if shines directly in a straight line). -

And of course the size of it, the physics in Crossfire are different from real life I'm afraid.
The only situation where a laser sight would be helpful in CF is when you have it on a sniper rifle and you're unscoped. In any other situation, you wouldn't see it because it's centered, just like the crosshair you can't turn off. -
Ok it would be bad also if other people can see the beam and know your position
Or they can't see the laser?
I don't think that's too bad, if we had a powerful laser on the gun and let's say, you shot the enemy around the neck but you ran out of ammo.. Point the gun near his eyes whilst switching to a secondary weapon! Temporarily blackout the opponents vision. I'm sure they come with on / off switches.

Ah now I see where your coming from, yeah... That's going to be an issue if they both overlap each other. Even worse because we wouldn't be able to disable one for the other, and if we did it could possibly cause worse aim then we first started out with.. Didn't think of that and there's no point just keeping it for the "scope" of a gun too so...
