Well i had login error for past 2 weeks ,could not play at all.I tried all the usual stuff to fix game in that time and nothing works.even support seems to send a computer generated standard reply.So then out of the blue i find game is fixed for me yesterday.I think you guys have just gotta hang in there for game to start working again.Try to fix it once with all the usual stuff like turning off modem for an hour or a day.If that dont work try reinstalling game.If that dont work just give up and wait it out.Dont waste your time trying to fix because you will find it too frustrating.Just hang in there and find something useful to do while you wait. -

Hang in there? Sorry, but that is simply an unacceptable solution. No game's response to customers being denied their service because of issues on THEIR end NOT THE CUSTOMER'S end should EVER be "hang in there." I realize that you are not speaking for them. So don't jump on me over my rant. I am not targeting YOU but merely your advice to others.
The December patch prevented me from playing for nearly three weeks. None of their proffered "solutions" solved anything because they were not, have not, and will not investigate what is actually causing the problem. They simply say it's not their fault, it must be something on "our" end.
Here we are with the January patch and lo-and-behold, more people are "failing to connect to server" or the game disconnects them for no reason and they are now blocked from certain servers. This is not "our" issue, it is Z8/Smilegate/CrossFire's freaking issue!! And the longer they refuse to address AND FIX the issue the more legit players walk away from the game.
Why do they walk away? Because any time you have a legitimate issue with this game, it takes less time to solve the problem (that is if you get a CSR who actually works with you to solve it rather than ignoring you until you go away), even though it takes weeks (UNACCEPTABLE!!), it takes longer for them to remove hackers from their game.
The problem, here, is that we are dealing with a company that doesn't care enough about it's customers to actually SUPPORT them. They simply **** out code and hold out their hands for money. -
There will be no help coming. Like I said previously, I had "failed to connect" errors for almost three weeks. Out of the blue after the first of the year, I was able to log in. Now, with the new patch, I cannot connect to the NA1 server.

I played cf on Tuesday before the patch no problem today I update then try to play I get failure to connect to server error over top the login and pw box Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling game to no use How am I supposed to get the bonus stuff if I cant even log in everyday for the event they are running till feb FIX THIS DAM PROBLEM AND GIVE ME THE DAYS I MISS DUE TO YOUR FAILURE ON UPDATES and the errors it brings

Hang in there? Sorry, but that is simply an unacceptable solution. Worked on the 14th dosent work now.
i was able to log in yesterday like normal, no kicks for randomness not even a omg your hacking kick like i normally get (which is typically a bugg not a hac and i dont do it the game does it). but today i try to log in and it freezes on step 2 of logging into the server on the server select screen and them times out and the button that pops up to tell me it failed to connect is unpushable and the entire screen is unresponcive pull up task manager and the client for cf is not responding. this has happened for the last 2 months on this game. i was really into cf 4-5 years ago and have played off and on sence when the game isnt compleatly fed up by bugs. but honestly as some one who has played sence them to the people who have been here less time this game gets sold more offten to a new publisher then it gets fixed. litterally some of the same "glitches" or as i call i **** poor programing are exploated that were in the game 5 years ago. oh and the hacs are only geting worse. used to be it was only seeing you through walls or seeing your ghost more easily. now its shooting through walls with no reciold head shots froma sg across the map non stop. the admins of this game dont care as long as people are buying the game credits. if you want to change them game go 3 months with out z8 points. if 1/2 the people who normally perchase points did this they would ask why are we not makeing any money. and this is why FIX THE CRAP AND BAN THE MFing HACKS yes with a fing K on it. the is the only game i know in the 500+ online games ive played that wont let you type HACK. you have to type hac to clame some one is hacking in a game they are so freaking blind to the fact that i can join any freaking server, any freaking channel and any freaking room and there is a 25% chance the same freaking people who have been hacking for the last 5 years are still there on their parents isp hacking. im sorry but if you think the admins care they dont. but because some one like me speaks out im likely to be baned for it. thats fine steam has counter strike for 14$ and lol this is just a knock off of it. so ban me if the truth makes your ass hurt. just know its the truth. theres a reasion the guy above me says the admins/gms here can eat **** and die. we dont respect those who dont do one ****ing ounce of work to earn what we give them. ive put in over 500$ into this game over the years. hell at a time when i was makeing only 600 a month i was putting in 50 per month onto this game. it was wasted. the game hasnt developed and honestly lol its not even playable on new operateing systems for the first 3 years they are out. they will fix bugs but they wont take away the cheaters and the glitch exploaters and they will continue to put out crappy mutant modes and zombie modes that honestly lost their appeal after the first few rounds for me. if they want players to keep paying they should just ban the vip's who hack and yes there are plenty of them hell 100+ dollars per account that they remake sounds like a soild buisness idea to me. then maybe they could afford some programers who dont sit around doing jack crap all day and fix the buggs and the ability of asshats to hack. -

Well i know its not on my end, why would it be on my end when it was working fine until update and then it started to happen. Sorry, clearly it is your fault, just like you focus more on your cute players who pay then you do the "FREE" players out there. "Failed to connect to server". But LoL has the same issue on there download patcher thing, people get stuck at 33-99% but yet they assume its the customers fault.

Man ive been having this same issue. Failed to connect to server.... i checked all my anti virus, all my firewalls, i system restored my pc, re downloaded crossfire, ran three freakin anti virus and still get failed to connect to server, i get to the page but login part never shows up.. now i also get a mfc error also... i was on yeasterday too... awesome update i wanna purchase some zp for wm but the despost page wont work either. Fml

try to restart your modem, turn it off, than wait 10 -15 secounds, after that restart your modem and than try to login again in CrossFire! -
