Game Booster Fails!!!!!!

So I used to get 50-100(at best) fps while playing the game. I put texture on low so that it would get that high. I had heard that Game Booster helped get your fps up so I imagined that it would help me get around 150 fps. The thought of that made me happy . So I downloaded it and ran it but once I was in "gaming mode" and played the game it didn't help me one bit it stayed at 50-100. So I Esc+Enter+Enter and took "gaming mode" off and returned to finish the game. Just so happens that when i entered the room again my fps went down to 20-30! I'm very disappointed with this, if anyone has any idea on what happened or has a solution please post it. It will greatly be appreciated.

sure gamebooster didnt shut something down that didnt re load back up ?

GameBooster doesn't work for everyone, esp. not me. I tried it and it instantly blue-screened my system. I have my doubts about raising my FPS though, I usually never have something especially CPU-intensive in the background while gaming.

Not sure man, for all I know, everything that was shut down was started again afterward. Something weird just happen too, my computer was asking for an update once it was done updating my mouse stopped working -.- This is really not a good day for me

Personally, Gamebooster makes my game run much smoother, I wish I didn't have to use it, but glad that it helps .

You were expecting to get 50 FPS more from using Game booster? That'd never happen.
All Game booster does is close unnecessary things that are running in the background, It helps slightly but don't expect a miracle..

It can close a program which is conflicting with xtrap....

I find that it keeps my fps stable.

Also, it's an aimbot.

Well it is supposed to help with fps so i imagined it would get higher than what I usually get.

Hey everyone that read this thread, It just so happens that after crossfire went down and came back up my fps went up to 40-50!!!!! It isn't what it used to be but its an improvement. With that said, I cant wait till Sunday for the maintenance

And you guys shouldn't take this long for an update or even a maintenance a lot of the CF community is experiencing problems
