I remember that few days ago Dot told me some thing like "math is hard" on 1 of my threads and that gave me an idea

let's look at my ban from mathematical point of view

He told me some thing like:7 pints 7 days ban/10 points 2 weekd/20 points 30 days.. etc

if I remember correctly so all the major infraction was only on my alts,on my main I get only minor infractions (no more that 2 points)for craps like off-topic and censor the bypass(nothing serious)

so if collect 2 points from 9 infraction we get 18 points right?2 weeks ban right?

he gave me perm ban for 18 points?o.O

and about "whe you have 9 infraction so the 10th is automatic ban"?

yes if some one had 9 major infraction and ban infraction so yes I agree the 10nth suppost to be perm ban!

but when some one have only minor infractions for craps like go off-topic and bypass the cencor so it make to sense to give him perm ban!

imagine this situation:

some one make account and love to go off-topic all the time...he get 10 minor infraction for go off-topic...and after the 10th infraction he get prm ban and the ban massage says "off topic"

I'm the only one who see the absurd?perm ban for off topic?

not to mention that minor infraction for craps like off-topic are not real infraction they're more like warnings...infraction for go off-topic not supposed to have any impact on your account

as I said...yea...10 major infractions worth perm ban ...but if we mix 9 minor infractions so we get 2.5 major infraction...it's not even 30% of the limit

yes,technically yes...some one can get 10 infractions and not get perm ban

if all the 10 are minor infraction(only 2 points)for some craps

9x2=18=2 weeks ban

so yes...some one can get 10 infraction and get only 2 weeks

Points have nothing to do with permanent bans, you could have 180 infraction points, 9 individual infractions each worth 20 points, and be banned by the 10th infraction giving you 200 points.
You could also be banned from 10 infraction points, 10 infractions worth 1 point each.

INFRACTIONS give the permanent ban, not INFRACTION POINTS.


And to once again be clear, though after a few hundred lines of PMs written I don't really believe I'll ever get through to you; I didn't CHOOSE to permanently ban you.
The system is AUTOMATIC.
We don't research how many times you've been infracted before we issue an infraction, if you have 9 then you've had 9 chances to correct yourself.
If the infraction we issue in the moment is the 4th or 10th have no bearing on the infraction, we don't AVOID giving someone an infraction for breaking the rules just because they might be permanently banned as a result, that would defeat the entire system.

And we do not unban accounts. Incorrigible people don't deserve it, and besides - we can't.

Yes, they are supposed to have an impact on your account.

please read once again my PM about the "rookie mistakes"!

what if some one is new on all of those "forum things" and dont really understand what he doing in the first months and he get a lot of warnings and infractions so you will perm ban him?

on what grounds?it's not his fault...it just take time to new people to understand things

so don't look at my first 4-6 months infraction...look only at mine last year interactions

you can't really perm ban new users for braking rules they didn't even knew that they're exist

Someone who gets infracted 9 times without learning a lesson deserves the tenth.

Our rules are not unique to this forum. They are not complicated.
Don't insult other users. Stay on topic. Don't bypass the censor. Don't instigate flamewars through nonsensical posts. Don't advertise other games.
These are rules that anyone with a basic understanding of the internet and the English language can get on board with.

We're not responsible for teaching you the rules, we're responsible for correcting you if you break them.

It's your responsibility to read the rules and follow them if you want to use our forum.

That one in 10 000 users will have to deal with it, we have to assume people have read and understand the rules, since they have to read and understand the rules to even create a Z8Games account.

As I said, that one in 10 000 (probably more like 20 000) users who we permanently ban - I think the total amount of permanent bans to individual users (not accounts) on this forum amounts to about 10, will just have to deal with it.
It's not our fault they don't understand the rules.
If you don't understand English, I struggle to see why you would want to frequent an English forum and post 50 times.

if I knew what I did wrong so I wouldn't repeat the same mistake again...

I just came to this site 2 years ago to check my ribbons and I clicked the "forum button" but mistake...and boom I'm here since then

Yes.


I'd like to point out that it has never happened that someone were infracted 10 times for thread bumping and as a result were permanently banned though.
Someone on a bumping spree is usually stopped with the shortest available manual ban, we don't spam infractions.

It does not contradict because ten POINTS is different from ten INFRACTIONS.
An infraction can have a point value of 1-20.
An infraction is also always ONE infraction in itself, which doesn't matter until you hit the magic 10-infractions limit at which point you're permanently banned.



We're not really interested in what you think is absurd. Mostly because it has never happened and never will, and because YOU don't make the rules, and because WE are the ones who enforce these rules in a way we're quite good at, I'm sure YOU would ban someone for bumping ten times but that's not how we generally moderate.

My answer answered both of them. Follow the rules.


That random person shouldn't be posting on this forum if he doesn't speak English, and isn't much of a loss if banned. We're an English forum, and the rules are required reading even if it takes 5 minutes of your precious time.

ok next time some one will ask me "why you were banned" I will answer:

"I was banned because I joined 2 years ago to some gibberish site and some collect points system(which I didnt know even exist) collected my points and gave me infractions(which I didnt know even exist)for braking no sense rules(which I didnt know even exist and also I didn't know what infraction is or how to know if I got one so I couldn't really Stop myself from repeat this offence)"
