Failed To Connect To Server
Hi; If a mod could at least let me know they have read this I would greatly appreciate it. I haven't been able to get on the game or the forums for a few days now. I am going to write a list of troubleshooting I have done and hopefully it will help find an answer to this (I want to play as soon as possible).
1. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game (Once with my firewall on - Then a friend advised me to do it without my firewall on so I did that). I also added Crossfire into the exceptions list for my firewall and antivirus (So I'm quite sure that my antivirus is not the problem).
2. I copied a friends hgwc and log files and replaced them with mine. I tried this with a few people but none of them would fix the problem.
3. I tried running the game as administrator.
This is where my problem gets a little weird. I can access the forums on my phone only if I am connected to my mobile data (Not my wifi). I can't access it via my router at all (It just takes me to a blank page and states that the page couldn't be opened). So therefore I assumed it was definitely my computer that was having problems with crossfire.
I then downloaded the game on two other laptops I have at my house. Both of them patched correctly but still I received the same error when opening the game and can't access the forums (All connected to the same wifi).
I opened up my superhub... I opened all of my ports and tried turning my routers own firewall off and starting the game that way but still with no success.
The error I receive is that my hgw gamewatcher loads to step three and then stops. After a while of eating I receive a message that states "Failed to connect to server : W[2003] L[0]. Could somebody please tell me what that error code means? I've sent in a support ticket but haven't as yet received a reply.
All I want to know is... Is this fixable? When will it be fixed? Will I have to wait until there is a new patch on crossfire before being able to play again? Is the problem in my internet or is it server sided? I live in England - Am I the only person with this problem?
Any response is appreciated; I want to know what is wrong with my game.

Reinstalling (4x)
Deleting CF folder and then reinstalling (3x)
Opening ports through my router
Turning off firewall
Restarting PC
Restarting Router
Running launcher as admin
Running patcher as admin
Setting all .exe files associated with CF to run as admin
Scanning for viruses
Deleting CF folder in my documents
None of these things have worked, and my support ticket to Z8 is still unassigned and unanswered. I submitted that ticket about 24 hours ago. I've posted several threads on other forums to no avail. I'm getting really tired of this and I am close to giving up on playing CF.... If anyone can help us at all, that would be great. -

Same here. I know 2 people who've reverted exclusively to console gaming because of this and they used to spend a lot of money on this game. The worst part is how we're being kept in the dark as to what's going on although they know that many people are having these problems. -

I have same problem.I have tried all that you mention to fix game.Nothing works.I am absolutely gutted, spent a cartload of money on game and been playing since 09. All these posts with same error at least have proved that it is not just me or my pc.Crossfire is broken for many of us.I thought the latest patch would fix this, but seems it was just to push new weapons. -
Update: I've been using my personal hotspot on my phone to get past step three. Then as soon as hgw gamewatcher closes I turn off my hotspot and switch back to my wifi and I can load in the game. The only problem is I get hack tool detected after three minutes of logging in So close to fixing it!
