Additionally, if after performing the previous steps you are still facing problems, you can try the following:
-If your issue is with X-Trap, please close all other applications before opening CrossFire. This includes closing all non-essential processes using the Task Manager in Windows
-Try to run the game on a different computer
-Try to run the game on a different operating system (Windows 8 OR 8.1-> Windows 7)
-Try to copy CrossFire folder from a working machine and replace your existing folder
-Try to play the game using a different connection or ISP
-Try to update your graphic card’s drivers
None of these work at all...
