Ok seriously this error gets it on my nerves already.

I must say i hate to see this error. I keep getting it constantly every time when i close my game and after 5-6h when i start to play i get this:

I've already tried to download new client and it's only temporary solution if i delete file and install it again. I've tried to use from my laptop files (copy paste) it didn't worked(temporary solution). The only thing what it remains is reinstall windows, which i am not going to do it cause i have alot of games downloaded and installing windows and download games again just cause of 1 game is not worth.
Fix your game z8games.

Well I would suspect that your problem is written in plain sight at bottom right corner of your screenshot.

that actually is not a problem. I've played before with pirated copy of windows and didn't had any problem till now. So your arguement is invalid.

Said who, said the developers who made the game based on the operating system that windows made? I don't see anywhere on the system requirement that say: "hey guys, our game will always work with pirated OS!"

Underscore "till now", windows users are expected to install updates when they are prompted to. The updates could be changing some codes on the OS which in-turn prompting CF devs to update their client. Some pirated copy of windows unfortunately lack the ability to install update like a legit copy could.

I'm not here to seek an argument with you, it's just that whenever I see: "Hey things aren't working and I'm not doing what I'm supposed to, so it must be your problem, plzzz fix it" really ticks me off.

I didn't reinstall windows for 2 years already -.-"
I've been using also on my previous PC the same CD and guess what i didn't had any problems. Besides i've been playing: assassin's creed games- no problems
BF3- no problems
CS- No problems
only CF does have issues. So again your arguement IS INVALID!!!!

Are any of those games you listed beside CF also developed by Smilegate? Obviously each game works / interacts with the OS differently . CF devs could be doing something differently to their game not to mention different game engines / different coding.

The fact of the matter here is that you have an unlicensed / unsupported copy of an OS. Something might work fine for it, but do you honestly expect everything you put on it to work 100%? (ie. Crossfire in your case). If pirated copies works so well, everyone with a brain wouldn't pay for the real thing!

I'll take my leave here, you don't seem to have a basic understanding of how different things behave differently. Good luck finding an answer, though don't expect it to come from this board.

I don't know what you people think pirated means, it's not like a few nerds sat in a basement and made their own identical copy of Windows.
It circumvents the identification process, Microsoft don't mind because they earn their money from companies that get reviewed by DNV/uphold ISO standards, make money off their Windows copies (do WORK) and such. Otherwise they'd do something a bit more annoying than putting a disclaimer in the corner of the desktop.. like not giving out any updates to pirated versions, or simply asking for a correct key or the OS shuts down in.. 10 days.

That said, we don't officially support any pirated OS, and it's not like Microsoft will help you either (except they have a huge help database that fixes pretty much every issue.. and it's free)


You'll want to make sure your gpu drivers are updated, you'll want to run CF and Windows at the same resolution.

Gpu drivers are updated.
I go sleep now in morning i'll try to use same resolution Cf with windows. I didn't had any problems using any resolution before so i'll try and see that later.

Same thing if you turn off skype, that windows window, task manager, chrome?
