cshell.dll and ESET

Hi !
I installed 3 times the game and after the last update ESET find the cshell.dll as threat...
It failed to update it the first time...so i reinstalled it and the same happened....the third time i disabled the eset and updated the game but when i join in a room game crash....
I never had problem before with eset and crossfire....
Any idea ?

I had the exact same problem, but there is no need to reinstall the game. All you have to do is to add the whole CrossFire folder to the exceptions and ESET will leave you alone.

If you don't know how to do it I suggest searching for it with Google. If you still cannot figure it out, I'll make a few screenshots, but it would be a waste of time if you don't need help with it.

Try this...
Open ESET then press F5 then select computer then select antivirus and spyware then click Exclusions. Add Z8Games folder to the exclusion then reinstall the game for 100% no chances of missing files. Then if you want 100% Working with no errors, Try : go to crossfire folder and find patcher_cf then run it as administrator... let me know if helped
