Thank You Mastermind. I thought I was the only one who gave a rats butt.
But I do believe this thread will be closed without a single answer very shortly.
I had a thread about the same thing....Closed in 20 minutes.
I sent Saidin a PM..........Crickets.
I even put in a trouble ticket asking for refund.........You can guess.
No messages anywhere!
Now to add insult to injury there is a thread encouraging Z8 to make Echo low ping only. Because were not worth playing with. lol
What I think. They fired the contractor of the WCS and there is no plan currently to replace it. We keep holding out hope and we dont leave. Thats what IMO is going on. If they had news to give us I think they would have. The silence is Deafening.
To those players who complain about playing with us consider this. We have the lag 100% of the time. We always die half way down a hall way from shots on the other side of the map.
You should be greatful you get to play us high pingers.
Our kill to Death ratios are tanking....Who is benefitting? Not us.
You kill us easier than we kill you. You see us as the server see's us. We dont.
How about a high pinger channel? One that we can play each other, and not a 9 pinger who lives around the corner from the server.
I'm moving back to USA in a few weeks. So I should be ok then...Thats the only reason I keep playing.
But all you WCS players.....Let out your breath....It ain't coming back! Just my opinion.

Ok, Whats your daily ping?
And I spent around 50 bucks literally minutes before it went down. Bought several cool things that are time sensative. So what would Blue Aces do? You'd QQ! (dang I said I'd never use that lame arse term).
Ping 330 and they lead you to believe its coming back soon..Hang in there were working on it. Hey give us some slack guys we'll have it back up soon. And then nothing.....Weeks and there has been nothing.
They have a father board on order? The sofware is corrupted and they are calling in Mathew Broderick from war games to get it going again? (want to play a game professor?) They dont have a power cord long enough to plug it back in? Its winter and the technician at the WCS sight is a hybornating Bear? What?
Nothing, No news....Zip Zero Nada!
So put on my mod/Jedi hat......This isn't the westcoast server your looking for. You can go about your business, Move along!

haha that's funny. We are playing the game, it's others that are qqing about our 260 pings lag. Fixing the West Coast server would be benefit for both you and me.
Most of us just want to know a set date for when it will be back up, so we don't have to keep checking everyday.
The server was supposedly said to come back on Monday and it's Thursday :S.
I just bought another 30 day axe before the server went down, literally right before. It's got around 10 days.
I'm not benefiting my clan at the moment, I was planning to grind my ass off these whole holidays (18th of Dec - 31th of Jan), but that doesn't seem possible. My clan is mostly a west coast server, if you must know it's -[uD]Gaming, we've dropped five rankings. There's no way to fix that.

Man, the downtime is really making us cranky. Never knew how much I was addicted to Crossfire.
We really need the server to come back up, and there definitely has to be compensation since we missed out on all the events and sales. I have about another $100 saved up. -
It was a bigger problem than expected before the holidays.
Beyond it will be fixed when it gets fixed, unfortunately we can't give an exact date. We do know the issue though and we are working on it as we speak. It is a priority and the server will be coming back.
The minute we can give you guys something more concrete we will.
