Cross Fire Pugs [IDEA]
Is anybody interested in having a pug vent/mumble and having draft style pugs? I used to have a really popular pug server in Cross Fire a couple years back but went inactive for the longest. I figured since most people aren't as on as much to scrim why not set up a pug and follow the current leagues maps , and legal guns . Also we could even host drafts again like we used to do in the past on every Friday or Saturday. FYI there is no server at this time. If people show interest there will be one as soon as possible which wouldn't be as long.

im trying to get a mod to make a thread poll to see how many would be interested. I'd provide the communication sever. But just dont wanna waste the money if not enough interested. I think it'd be very cool to get the pugs back and have less boredom on cf

when i think of rap battles in crossfire i always think of DJ Thunder and SheepBacon..

Note: Drafts usually get pretty active ( Well did in the past ) If there is no less than 10 teams which is 50 players than there will be no draft and it will just be a pug. Also if this get popular like it used too ill even buy the game cards with 10k zp for winning team all 5 players. -

If the PUG system turns out to be successful (by the looks of things it'll most likely be good) I'll chip in with Matt for prizes like I use to. WOGL William to the rescue boys. (ZP / Cash? / Virtual Credit Cards) -

Not ZP/CC's/Paypal/Cash, no one wants to be chargeback'd. Seems like the only logical answer is prepaid cards, although not everyone wants zp, you could do something like let them pick anything of $10 in value from pcgamesupply.com or something. -

It would be for all players , not just competitive . Anybody may play in the event or simply pug. Aslong as everyone follows the rules when posted its all fine. Rule set isnt gonna be as strick but also have a league twist.I do remember your old server. Would be nice to have active pugs again. Prizes get attention but they are fun without too. If you were to bring them back mabye you would need to advertise it not only in the competitive section but I don't know. -

I do agree with this. It's a pick-up-game, not a play-to-win-and-get-prizes. I'll get together with Matt and we can discuss prizes, but more or less I was thinking at the end of every month (or maybe even two weeks) we can feature a decent sized prize for the winning PUG team. That way prizes are kept to a minimum (as much as people want them) and players aren't just influenced because of that. -
There will be a server up later today , DRAFTS will be ran next week after we have a poll about the days and times. Also only getting a 100 slot server for the time being. If this proves to be more active and worth expanding i will do so. Chase and Myself will be releasing more information through out the day and week. More to come
