When I open the game it says my client is old version. it didn't do that before when the patch was not here help ? and when i go to the website and re download it says cant establish a connection but my connection seems to be fine

This indeed happens when your client is too old and further patching the game would make it unstable. Uninstalling your current version and downloading the newest version should solve the problem.
