Resolution issue

I reinstalled my CF due to a factory reset trying to adjust a problem with random crashing and I tried to select a normal 1980 x 1080 resolution for my laptop but it only comes in
( Wide ) Which makes my hud very very small and extremely hard to see, any suggestions to fix it like how it was before?

Do you mean that there are blacked out parts at the top and the bottom of your screen?
