XTrap Error 08-0400-00000000-544 Help

Hi GM ,
I can't open Crossfire Now because this error
XTrap Error 08-0400-00000000-544
system32/d3d9.dll.
CrossFire [North America]
This error caused by a certain update from windows update.
"Update for Windows 8.1 for x64-based Systems (KB3000850)"
Please Fix Xtrap Error and update it , I don't want to uninstall windows Update because it takes from me 5 Hours [700Mb maybe] to download KB3000850 Windows November Update , and I loving to update my windows to Last Version for stability Updates and Improvements , so Please Update xTrap and fix this error .

GM Please Update XTrap Fast and fix this error I don't want to uninstall and reinstall a huge windows update again ,I have slow internet , I know crossfire will work if I uninstall this windows update and restart pc but I don't want to uninstall windows November Update it's improve My Pc and make it smoothly than before please GM Fix That Problem and I will wait like 3 or 4 days to solve it ,I can't wait to reinstall this update again with my slow internet and I won't know in the future if this problem will fix or no to reinstall Windows November Update Again so I decided to wait some days for fix that problem .
Please Solve That Error And Thx

I wanted to create that thread, because I have absolutely same problem, but you were faster. IMO problem is in Windows 8, because CF is "old" game and W8 has problems with old games.

go check your recent windows update history and see the date of an update that matches the day you are having this error.

you have to uninstall that update.

This solution fixed this error and can play CF without having that error anymore.

And if you're using other than windows 8, the update was an optional windows update, hope that helps.

Please check if you have installed "Update for Windows 8.1 for x64-based Systems (KB3000850)" (Name may vary for other Windows versions) and uninstall it for the time being.
The issue was reported to X-Trap and we are waiting for an update.

Thx GM , this issue was reported To X-Trap and waiting for update, and I will wait for this update.
I Don't want to waste my time when I install windows Update before so I won't uninstall this Windows Update and waiting for Fix from X-Trap.

The solution worked

Uninstalling the above mentioned windows update on my Windows 8.1 x86 worked.
