Loading speed

Gradually over the last few months the time in which I load in and out of a game has increased drastically. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this? Thank you!

I believe it's due to the increase in hard drive space the game takes since the addition of Wave Mode and Shadow Mode. If you use a solid state drive rather than a hard disk drive to store the operating system(windows) and CF the load times are a lot faster.

The only thing that makes a difference for me is to enter the item shop when I first log in, pick a gun and enter the shooting range with it. That way the first game I join loads a lot faster. Though for some reason whenever someone joins the same room I'm in with a female character my CF client slows way down to load that character and sometimes it gets me killed, that likely has just as much to do with the way the game's files are organized as it does my outdated computer.

i had the same problem after a few years of cf and i solved it by redownloading it because some of the files for cf you downloaded may be out of date
