Halloween Creative Event 2014 discussion

It had only been a month since the skirmish of New Greece had begun, and already baffling almost incoherent reports had started pouring in to Global Risk HQ.
At first they seemed like practical jokes, or some soldier's attempt at writing fiction. The reality was far worse.
Initial reports spoke of Black List soldiers who kept trudging along even after having a full clip of ammo unloaded into them. Later reports became stranger still, when they spoke of soldiers who were reported dead days before, now seemingly wandering about on the battlefield in a daze, covered in blood, mire and muck.
What drove the reports from the strange to the bizarre was mention of cannibalism on the battlefield - soldiers ripping at the flesh of friend and foe alike, feasting with an unquenchable hunger. Horrific accounts of colleagues being ripped apart limb from limb, or dived upon with the ferocity of a wild ravenous animal.
Shortly after that, the reports dried up. Nary a written report, nor a single radio call received. Not a peep. Not a whisper. Nothing. Nada. New Greece had officially fallen dead silent - emphasis on dead.
Looking to investigate the bizarre incident, Global Risk sent in Bravo Squad; an elite cadre of soldiers specializing in battlefield investigations and extractions...
Mercenaries save your souls! Tell us your scary stories for Halloween through this new creative event from October 23rd to November 17th 2014. Similar to the CrossFire Film Festival, you will have the opportunity to unleash your creativity and impress your fellow players with your work in 4 artistic categories.

- Best Costume
- Best Video
- Best Picture
- Best Story
GMs will choose the top 10 submissions in each category, those 10 will be posted for public voting on the forum to select the top 3 winners in each category.
Rewards:
1st place in each category will receive:
Mauser-Halloween Permanent
2nd place in each category will choose one of the following:
M4A1 Halloween 7 Days + 10,000 ZP
OR
MP5 Halloween 7 Days + 10,000 ZP
3rd place in each category will receive:
5,000 ZP

Rules:
General
- All submissions have to be sent to the following email:[email] cfhalloween2014@smilegatewest.com[/email]
- Email Subject should contain: [CFHalloween2014][Category][IGN]. Example: [CFHalloween2014][Costume][Odeeb]
- Each player can only compete in one category. You may submit unlimited entries, however each new entry will overwrite the previous entry including the choice of category.
- Players must submit their entries using an active account that is not currently suspended or banned. In the event that an account becomes banned or suspended during the event time your entry will be revoked.
- Plagiarism and content that is not your own will not be accepted.
- Any entries with discriminating, obscene, illegal, or copyright protected content from other companies or persons will be disqualified.
- Prizes are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to other accounts. If, for any reason, the winner’s account is banned prior to the prizes being awarded, the winner will forfeit their right to the prizes.
- All entries submitted for contests become the property of Smilegate West and may be used for additional promotional periods.
- Z8Games and Smilegate West reserve the right of final judgement on any issues relating to this event and to change the submission time, voting period and announcement times.
- A photo of the player in a CrossFire related Halloween real-life costume.
- Players have to hold a sign with #CFHalloween2014 + their IGN.
- The picture of the costume and player must be clear and unaltered. Photo Manipulation of the player/costume will not be allowed.
- Pictures must be submitted as a .jpg or .jpeg. or bmp and be at least 300x300 dpi.
- A minimum of 2 minutes video that tells a scary story in CrossFire.
- Videos must be uploaded to Youtube.com with the links to sent to us through email.
- Videos must contain #CFHalloween2014 and IGN in the video and in the title.
- A picture, collage, comic strip, or a photo telling a scary story taking place in CrossFire.
- The picture needs to show #CFHalloween2014 and the IGN.
- Pictures must be submitted as a .jpg or .jpeg. or bmp and not be at least 300x300 dpi.
- A written text telling a scary story taking place in CrossFire.
- The story must be submitted as *.txt, *.doc or *.docx file.
- The text needs to contain at least 300 words without the title
- The story title needs to contain #CFHalloween2014 and the IGN.
