I prefer winter as long as it's real winter and not the stuff I see in Europe almost every year. Not really a fan of rain and 5-10°C in December..

Personally I love summer, I love it so much, going to beach with friends and going out with friends. However I prefer winter just for the fact of being snug, I love getting cosy again people and when you go to bed being cosy.

Winter is a good excuse for spending ridiculous amounts of money on good-looking clothes though.

Summer time > linen pants or shorts, t-shirt or shirt. Limited variation.

Anyway, as for the cold, you're bad at winter! Layer up.
Theres no jacket to put on during the summer to make you cold, you only get warmer and warmer.
