Is Crossfire doing anything about the amount of hackers?

When I first started playing this game back in 2008, it was fun. People where happy there where nobody disturbing the game and you could level up really fast, also the guns where surprisingly cheap!

But in late 2009 the amount of hackers when't up. And in this time I did not play the game that much because it seemed like every game was filled up with a bunch of hackers. Until crossfire was patched and then most of the hackers I saw where not on there and I could play again. But not for long...

A few months into 2010 I saw that there where more hackers then ever and that hacks they where using where more violent. Since that day the amount of hackers have stayed the same.
Now here is my question. Crossfire is having many upgrades lately and thats great! but now when ever I or another person asks if they are going to do anything about the hackers they just discard the comment and go on. And barely any of the update logs say that they fixed anything about people hacking in the game.

Whats the reason for this? I mean if I was a company like this I would hire an ethical hacker so they could test the system and then the dumb-ass programmers for this game could fix them, that would be amazing! But sadly to this day in 2014 about 5 years later crossfires hacker population has been growing exponentially.
