xTrap error!

for the past 2 days I've been getting this xtrap error a minute or so after logging in
31-0300-00000000-219
"An abnormal game client has been detected. please re-install the client"

I have re-installed the game twice, redownloaded the whole thing after deleting every CF file and un-installing. none of which worked. I ran multiple virus scans and then re-installed the game. nothing worked again. I then went onto my laptop which also has crossfire. and had the exact same problem... after all that. I ended up factory reseting my desktop computer and re-downloaded CF. still I have the exact same issue and am very confused.

anyone able to help? support tickets take days to get a reply...

p.s. i don't have any problem running CF under win7x64 , also i use ASC7+antivirus to fix and repair windows every 4-5 days.... last time i reinstall entire windows was over 1 year ago

I'm going to give the 2nd one a go for sure. the fact my laptop does it as well thinks there may be a bug throughout my net. I'm not to sure how to do your 3rd step but if the first 2 fail. I'll most likely just give up unless I get a great response from the Support Ticket I sent to z8. but thankyou for the help. appreciated very much. hopefully it works!

I tried getting combofix... said it supports up to windows 8. which im using...
yet it said it doesn't support what im running. lol??????
edit: my computer was bought as windows 8.1 -.- -.- **** sake

Yes I have also been getting this error message since Friday on all my machines (PC - Windows7, PC Windows 8 & laptop Windows 7). I have deleted the game on each & reinstalled twice so kinda over that. Any ideas

None of the ideas i've gotten have fixed it, nor have I found a way to solve it myself

I had to re-install windows to get rid of this issue. Hope they are troubleshooting it on their end.

As in Factory Reseting your computer? because I've done that. not completely re-installed the whole of windows. but factory reset it to how i bought it. which is pretty much the same thing? :L

I really hope it doesnt come to this. As I said before I have a PC with Windows7, a PC with Windows 8 & a laptop with Windows 7. All giving me the same error code. I have deleted the game on each & reinstalled twice so kinda over that.
The error code [31-0300-00000000-219] says An abnormal game client has been detected. Please reinstall the game client.
What exactly does this mean as I have deleted the Z8 games folder from my hard drive & downloded the game from this web site twice for each machine & am seriously over that & remain uninterested in a Windows reinstall until I get a better understanding. The problem must be Xtrap as I have changed nothing on any machine in the last week & this all started Friday.
