**UPDATE 2014-10-01**
Two Teams have come back to life! We have added MuppetStarsX and Ascend to the Top 10. The tournament format has now been updated so that the bottom 4 teams will be playing for the final 2 WildCard spots in the National Finals!
The Wild Card Slot Matches will be Single Elimination Do Or Die situation for these teams!
**DETAILS:**
This year's National Finals are going to be hosted by ESG, and will be broadcast LIVE from the NESL studios in Burbank, California!!
This means that the CFS2014 National Finals will have the most talented people in E-Sports bringing it to life!
With ESG's years of experience in CrossFire competitive gaming, and with their anti-cheat programs in place they are sure to bring you the best action and competition possible!
NESL hosts some of the largest tournaments in e-sports, with a world class studio available for a top-notch broadcast! They have allowed us to use their studios in order to bring a play-by-play and minute-by-minute broadcast of the entire event!
Broadcasting Talent:
We've invited some of the best shoutcasters in CrossFire history to help us with the event! Please join Gex, Tilt and Zzqx this weekend as they keep us update and in the action for all of the CFS2014 National Finals!
Live Streams:
We have once again asked Purvis to help us with streaming some casual matches in game. This is going to take place on Saturday, October 4 @ 8:00pm EDT. He will be joined by the GM Staff and others from the CrossFire Community! It will be an open discussion on all things CrossFire!
There will be Q&As and Code Giveaways!

**TOURNAMENT FORMAT**
The tournament will follow a Double Elimination Format, but will be broken down into 2 stages:
Group Play - Broken into 2 Groups:
Playoffs:
We will be using the Standard ESG Rules.
Group Play will be Single Matches, and Playoffs will be Best of Three, until the finals, which will be Best of Five!

**GMs WILL BE PRESENT IN EACH MATCH**
GMs will be joining each match as it happens! They will be overseeing and officiating to make sure that all rules as outlined by ESG are followed. The GM will have final say on any and all disputes. Please also note that due to time constraints of the broadcast, we will only review replays for major disputes. The onus will be on the teams to report any violations of the rules. If no violations are reported during the match, we will assume that you were okay to play under those conditions.

there are probably other factors as to why the tournament starts to that time. use that tiny peanut of a brain you have to think what those factors might be. they're not going to change the date just because one team can't make it -

I'm kind of upset that you didn't take into account the Islamic holiday, Eid, is on Saturday. I'm almost positive cf stars would never be on Christmas, Easter or even Halloween. If possible the times should be changed slightly so that it works with everyone.

Due to a very small percentage of North American citizens being Islamic they didn't expect it being an issue. If this was done in another region of the world that the majority is Islamic I'm pretty sure the date of the event would be different. -

While there is about only about 5 million Muslims in North America, there is however a large amount of Muslims playing this version of crossfire even on the competitive side.
