"1v1's"

I don't understand why people 1v1 on ship to see who's the better player, in fact it's quite ridiculous that a winner of so called "1v1" would have bragging rights. Honestly, a 1v1 on ship says literally nothing about who is better, you can have great aim but 0 game sense, and that's the same for the other way around. Aim has no purpose if you don't play smart. The talent isn't with you're hand it's with you're mind and ability to change strategies on the stop of a dime.

I don't agree.( I agree for every mode except if he says I'm a better play in tdm)
There's a goal in every mode you play (tdm=most kills, wm=destroy enemy base etc.)
and we judge the final result. Someone can have 0 logic but great aim and if he wins he is still better. For example:Basketball. Someone has the shooting technique but always misses and someone has no technique and always gets it in. I let you judge who's better at shooting.

You can't use that as an example because in that case it is required to make it in the bucket, you can have good game sense and 0 aim but just spray them the **** down and even if you have bad aim if you are in the right position anything can happen. "Flanking" is a perfect example, let me ask you, do you need good aim to shoot someone from behind?

If he had a real bad aim he might have got killed. Never happened to you shooting someone from behind then miss and get killed? Even if he killed him,as far as I know, TDM games games aren't 1 kill win so eventually I doubt the 0 aim would win.

This was more directed toward the professional scene, as in SnD's. Also i want to make it clear i'm not talking about people with literally 0 aim, but people who have slightly less than average aim can easily make up for it with sick gamesense, and a td on ship even if the other person has slightly worse aim the person with the better aim will win 9/10 times, no matter how much or little a difference it is, it's a difference. Obviously we are not talking about people with 0 aim that would be silly, no one can have good game sense and no aiming abilities.

HotNess has a much better shot than me, and yet our 1v1s are as 50/50 as they get

    This is not 'rekt' ..
  • Don't go around using 1v1s to gauge skill.
