anyways, after almost 8 months playing this game AND currently ranking 198 in rank and top 46 in kills. wew! i have to stop playing for a while. no point in playing without west coast.

I feel your pain. I'm giving it another week and if we don't hear anything, I will look into what action I can take against Z8 for false information.

Well wc is back, but fancy that no ping decrease. Mine has gone from 220/240/280/300/310.

It has nothing to do with my provider as I have spoken to them and they have done ping tests etc. And its should be 240 atleast, yet soon as west coast comes back after about 2-4 weeks of maintenance it stays exactly the same.

well, to all you guys who posted bad things about z8! its all over now! they just opened west coast! im very happy, at least its back! my ping only improve by -75! from 280 in alpha to 205 in west! i hope it will continue to go down.

mine is going from 290 in alpha to 220 in west .

Thank You Z8 for reinstating the West Coast Server....I know there are a lot of us out here that really appreciate having it back...I just played several games and I ended with a 1.45 KD ratio...This is a first in 4 weeks.

I know we rode the forums pretty hard...But hey we really couldnt play. We remained loyal and we stuck it out...A lot of *****in and groanin of course. But were still here.

I still think the info black out was a wrong call. But I dont work there.

The server is back up. We do realize however that bringing the server back up is not going to simply cure-all-problems.

We are still aware that there could be higher pings in some areas of the world/users. Bringing the west coast server up had nothing to do with addressing that issue. We merely fixed the hardware problems that caused it to go down last month.
