Reduced time replay feature for Wave and Zombie mode.

I could be wrong but is the reason these modes don't have replays is because the matches run too long and support would be overwhelmed by huge .cfr files? If that's the case wouldn't it be possible for the replay to only begin as of [X] amount of time before the replay is saved? The replay recording system is always active during games and is just discarded at the end if the replay isn't saved am I right? When the game starts running past the set time it just starts discarding everything before that point. I'm not very tech savvy so maybe there's some technical reason this isn't possible so correct me if I'm wrong. But these modes shouldn't be safe havens for hackers just because they're too big.
