Add assist points

i think we should have a system where if you do 30+ damage to a player and someone else gets the kill you should get .5 assist points, this would also be great for kill steals

Hey man, just because you did 99 damage to that guy and the I did the remaining one doesn't mean I didn't totally deserve that kill.

Interesting idea, but I think it should be at least 50 damage so multiple people don't get the kill assist. At 30 damage, three people can get the assist, and this doesn't factor in armor either.

and what exactly will this do? This isn't COD where getting assist give you more xp, we already have a system like that. (head shots/double kills)
However I love the idea of an assist system since I tend to get ks alot.

the guy who gets the kill still gets 1 point and the guy who assisted gets .5

I like the idea of this. And don't they already have this is WAVE mode?

Anyways, I'm pretty sure this has been suggested many times in the past. Maybe Z8Games have their own reasons for not having it in regular modes...
