Any xm8 guide?!

If you're a scoper, then I think XM8 won't be a help.
For the XM8, I would recommend using the crosshair only because the scope's crosshair is a red dot that is thick and fat. It's not helpful in knowing whether if you are shooting the player or shooting the surroundings.

It's good for long ranged, it's powerful, but it's too much of a sharp gun. It's difficult to get a headshot from long range because of the low recoil.

Xm8 is the best rifle in this game.


Full damage through wood, recoil of an M4, damage a little higher and a scope that is pretty useful. Not to mention fast reload.

I'm trying to practise and get a feel for the XM8 through Alaska so it can replace my old Scar Light and Type 89. Great gun, I get many more kills with the M4A1 but few of them are headshots, it's a bit difficult to get HSs like others have said. Too bad everyone steals it on Alaska :P

Close range: spray aiming with the top line of the crosshair. (crosshair B recommended)

Med range: keep moving and aim towards neck and release four shots whilst pulling down aim slightly to control recoil. This is the bread and butter of this sexy weapon.

Long: One tap shooting with or without the scope.

great gun, strange design, but what will really get you is that if your in a desert at 100 degrees, the gun will literally melt. Because its made of aluminium and plastic.

Lol in Egypt map lets make the XM8 melt!

3. very accurate
4. High damage, not a lot of recoil
5. Spray at close range

almost every advanced player with M4 and SCAR L will pwn you, i played with XM8, great gun, but in league (ESL) its a bad choice

I'm not sure on the boxshot guns, but what other guns, apart from XM8, have 100% damage rate through boxes?

No way. I would say the best rifle in the game has to be XM8 or M4

scar heavy is ok, provided yo never need to reload. it gets you killed...

XM8 is a great gun. 4 shot burst to the stomach / 2 shot burst to the chest will usually get you a h/s over long distance i fing the scope helps a little, as youre better able to control the recoil 1 shotting. at close range spraying like you would an AK works.

personally i prefer the G36k, as the iron sight is a lot easier to use. some scopes in the game are good ( G36) some are ok (xm8) some fail ( M4-C)
