X-Trap Update - September 16th, 2014
Attention Mercenaries,
We have updated X-Trap in our ongoing effort to eradicate the hacker menace.
However, we have noticed two programs that cause issues with the latest update. These issues appear to be causing an error code: 05-0400-00000000-533.
1) Bitdefender Internet Security
- This conflict can be avoided by disabling the Active Virus Control option located in the Anti-virus settings.
2) Kaspersky Internet Security
- Unfortunately this security program seems to be a little more difficult to work with. At this point in time we are unaware of a method of circumventing this issue. Kaspersky will have to be disabled completely until a fix can be applied.
- You can disable Kaspersky via shutting off the Enable Self Defense option in the Self-Defense settings. You can find these settings under the additional tab.
EDIT - 09/17/2014: Sorry folks, it seems the "fix" for Kaspersky was only a temporary one and the issue continues after that. At this point all we can recommend is the un-installation of Kaspersky until we can apply a proper fix.
If you experience any issues other than the one indicated above then please let us know in a support ticket and we shall assist you as best we can.
And hacker's beware, cause we're after you!

Hey DaviCix,
Sorry about that. I loaded my computer up today and was experiencing the error again with Kaspersky. Looks like my "fix" didn't quite work as I expected. Unfortunately, all I can recommend at this point is the un-installation of Kaspersky until we can deploy a real fix.
Again sorry about the mix-up.
As for the 10-0300-800C0008-104 error, that is typically the result of a problem when trying to connect to the Xtrap servers. Please make sure your anti-virus/anti-malware/firewalls are not blocking Xtrap from connecting. -
Sorry Castiel but I can't uninstall Kaspersky (too risky...for me)
Who will take responsibility if my PC/Laptop got virus?
Till the FIX I'll not play (not my fault) so I couldn't join the events because of that.
Will you prepare some compensation for affected players?
Thanks, hope to see fix soon.

After update It's FIXED, thx. -
How about instead of just constantly relying on x-trap to make some sad attempt at removing these disgraceful people, why not just have GM's generally monitor the game manually, banning any clear'and'obvious hackers that they come across? you can even get a few sub-gm's to help, and it's not like it'll be expensive. you're basically hiring them to play a video game and boot some *******s in the meantime, you won't have to pay them like, minimum wage or anything.
What I'm trying to say is, instead of complaining about it, get involved! It shouldn't be the community's responsibility to consistently report these incidents. I've wasted a lot of my time (a LOT) reporting these *******s (pardon my french) and even though some of them seem to be getting banned, I can't help but get the feeling that all they're doing is continuing to make new accounts to continue the charades. I suggest maybe even just I.P. ban them? I mean, don't you have the power to do that at this point? I'm sure it'll be more effective than what's being done currently. -
apparently your xtrap isn't working apperrently not ****ing all working I was playing a new account yesterday while in a game on team deathmatch someone was running around shooting trough walls killing everyone and his team didn't even try kik him its ****ing sad when players can hack like that and makes all these claims you xtrap works I call bull**** on that
