X-Trap Update - September 16th, 2014
Attention Mercenaries,
We have updated X-Trap in our ongoing effort to eradicate the hacker menace.
However, we have noticed two programs that cause issues with the latest update. These issues appear to be causing an error code: 05-0400-00000000-533.
1) Bitdefender Internet Security
- This conflict can be avoided by disabling the Active Virus Control option located in the Anti-virus settings.
2) Kaspersky Internet Security
- Unfortunately this security program seems to be a little more difficult to work with. At this point in time we are unaware of a method of circumventing this issue. Kaspersky will have to be disabled completely until a fix can be applied.
- You can disable Kaspersky via shutting off the Enable Self Defense option in the Self-Defense settings. You can find these settings under the additional tab.
EDIT - 09/17/2014: Sorry folks, it seems the "fix" for Kaspersky was only a temporary one and the issue continues after that. At this point all we can recommend is the un-installation of Kaspersky until we can apply a proper fix.
If you experience any issues other than the one indicated above then please let us know in a support ticket and we shall assist you as best we can.
And hacker's beware, cause we're after you!
