Ghost Town
What happened?
A month ago, people were scrimming till at least midnight every day.
Now...it's a ghost town. The only place to find scrims after 8PM is in the UK server. What scared everyone away all at once?
Dear Misc. Irrelevant person,
Yes, we are aware the game is dead. Thank you for your input. It has been duly noted.

Did you expect the game to be alive with no real incentive to play?
The game was more active, as Tom said, with far less incentive to play. There are now two international competitions a year, with the potential for three in WCA. ESL provides opportunity for weekly cash prizes (McDonald's money, many people laugh, but that's infinitely more money than leagues have offered in the past). ESG is also having seasonal majors with thousands in cash prizes.
When school has started in the past, the game would be dead until roughly 5 or 6PM EST in the evenings, then start picking back up as people logged on. I am just confused as to why this year is different.cause some people smartened up a bit and learned that this game ****ing blows
Do you think that would happen all at once, though? It's just strange to me to see the daily activity go from this:
http://www.nationalesl.com/us/crossfire/5on5/go4_cup1/rankings
To this:
http://www.nationalesl.com/us/crossfire/5on5/go4_cup22/rankings
In such a short time span
Edit:
As a side note, I do find it strange that there are several people (all of who never accomplished anywhere close to a top placement in anything significant) who actively try to get people to quit this game. None of you play. "This game is trash" "gtfo out, quit already" "good riddance" "what moron would play this game".
I don't understand why you waste your time (and waste mine, making me block your accounts), if you truly don't care about this game anymore. Are you just bitter...? Someone enlighten me, please.
Edit2:We generally scrim after 9:15 every day.

Players got school
Players realize its time to make money and not rely on esl money -

It was a lot more active with no real leagues, money, or anti-cheat.
When the game was extremely active it generally consisted of people who had jobs and didn't need the cash prize that everyone sought out recently, they were content with the prizes wogl and esl gave out and I think everyone else would be too if the game reverted back to the way it used to be. -
