Only dangerous in the environment they're in though - riding pickups, spraying AKs and making videos doesn't fly in countries that have developed since 1300 AD.
An outright conflict between two countries doesn't have to lead to a world war, Great Britain and Argentina fought not too long ago over territory, no world war there.
Ukraine isn't part of NATO, so not much backup available there - the best they can hope for is some 'peace-keeping mission' where countries who feel like it can jump in with some boots or air.
Ah, I see you said RU-EU, not RU-Ukraine. It's certainly something to look out for, but not too likely. More and more countries might jump on the environmentalist bandwagon and close their nuclear plants, leaving them pretty much dependant on trade with Russia for gas like Germany, or keep their plants open and buy Russian uranium/plutonium/whatever keeps a plant running - point being that trade is a good stabilizer, and many EU countries depend on Russia even if Russia doesn't depend on many EU countries.
I think Putin will see the light and resume to passivity, or rather I hope so since Russia would be shat on in case of a proper war. -

If the word 'world' is supposed to be a substitute for the Middle East, then I disagree, ME needs strong supervision. -

Western involvement in the Middle East has likely done more damage than the Middle Easterners themselves ever could.
This idea that democratic rule and Western morality is the pinnacle of humanity, and that whoever does something else is wrong, bad or terrorists, is weak. -
Supervision how?

Supervision in like the US pressuring the Iraq government to fight ISIS through combined efforts
Its not about democratic rule, its about people having freedom and fair trials instead of being murdered because of religious/stupid laws -
And you not listen to the global news? The Leader from IS is dead, he get killed this day from iraqi Air force! bye bye islamic state! I hope the SAA and the Iraq Military kill all Terrorists!

You'll see that it's as viable as a dictator telling another dictator that he should stop being a dictator because dictatorship is bad. The credibility is just not there.
The UN could step in though, perhaps with US support, for a more hands-on approach. -
The people you want the US to influence, getting them to stop imprisoning innocent people, torturing and killing them, are the people who remember the US doing the same things to them in Abu Ghraib and Guantánamo.

You're forgetting that they are killing US citizens in a horrible way, while they were just there to cover news and do their jobs.
The citizens have nothing to do with this, all politicians in every country is corrupt, and the people always have to be the victims for their decisions.
ISIS did a cowardly unacceptable act, that needs a strong response.
They are not proofing anything with their bloody actions but that they are a bunch of bloodthirsty monsters who need vanished. -
I in no way shape or form want ISIS to attempt to attack anybody. My thinking is if they were to attack, say, America, there would obviously be an immediate response. However, If Russia were to defend them, it would make them look like they support and endorse terrorism. After which, the U.N. and U.S. would properly bend over Isis and Russia, if Russia got involved. Russia throws around the nuke card too much. Were anybody to launch one it would literally cause the human race to go extinct. Even Putin doesn't have the stones to do that
I always thought those videos of the Isis people "training" were cute. Showing off their jeeps they put together with duct tape and rags.
It reminds me of the Boise state team several years ago. Went undefeated and talked about how good they were, only to get crushed by Wisconsin somewhere in the neighborhood of 45-14 -
ISIS was created by the CIA/Mossad to justify another war. Iranian secret services have found the identity of ISIS's leader, his real name is Simon Elliot and he is a Mossad agent. Watch these videos, they are real eye openers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dYXXcwuJtbQ

Mossad vs. Shin Bet can go either way, theres probably overlap depending on what they're supposed to have done in this particular false flag, but whatever. -
NSA is an intelligence bureau, CIA is what he means and what makes sense, to the extent that conspiracy theories makes sense.
